Anyone tell me where the water goes in Apkallu Falls? There is a waterfall producing a large input of water, however no obvious flow path out. Yet the pool remains consistent. Discuss.

Down the drain
I'm gonna hope it is a drain but vote magic... :3
its the water that fuels yoshi-p's coffee machine
1 - drain
2 - white magicks
3 - the waterfall is a lie
It's called fantasy world for a reason :3
If you scale the cliff skirting along the edge, you can work your way up to a small swatch of land that overlooks the pool. I do this for crafting because hardly anyone goes out there.
Anyway, if you do that, you will clearly see that the pool is an optical illusion. You can't even see your reflection in it!!! :p
THERE IS NO WATER!!!!
Because Yoshi-P said so.
What if it isn't actually a waterfall? What if the water is coming out of the ground from a spring, flows towards what you see as the waterfall, and then flies up to the top, but at with a speed/pattern that makes it look like its falling? Like how the rim of a car tire can look like its spinning forwards or backwards depending on the speed.
Zoom your camera out and you will see better.
Some kind of underground channel would make the most sense.
This is like asking "Why is Thanalan still mostly desert, even though, from empirical experience, it regularly rains sideways?"
I postulate a huge forgotten underground sea... has to be the only explanation.
I thought the crazy old man drinks it all.
The power of the Aetherflow.
did you know, the shroud rains almost everyday?
It's because the water gets evaporated and turn into precipitation
