2.2 and Current EndGame Lockout will there be a change?

As the topic says will there be any changes made to current EndGame lockouts? CoB/CT lockouts are one week. I hope they will be changed to 72hrs, Cause I doubt they will be removed.

Also would like to say that Adding in Echo's for CoB T1-5 to make it easier doesn't help if we are still locked out for a week.

Dont know. Haven't seen anything released to say either way.

That's why I'm asking the only thing I've read is that they will add some Echo items to make the Turns easier. I hope that just because they are adding a way to make it easier that they will still lift the one week lockout. Or maybe they will say if you use the Echo's your locked out for the week but if you don't use them you are only locked out for 72hrs.

At best they'd boost Myth Tomes again probably to 500 and change how Coil locks you out, for example: "Coil Part 1 (1-5), Coil Part 2 (6-9, not 10? Because 10 would be a boss fight and we can't have that.)" each with its own separate lockout.

Lockouts are a means of keeping us playing and controlling the amount of x item enters circulation.

From past discussion it seems limits/lockouts are lifted or lightened when they update these places like CT and Coil.

For now we can only wait and see but most likely loot lockout and entering lockout won't be lifted until both CT and Coil storyline are almost finished or when enough levels of each raids are released to the point that loot from old parts of the raids are no longer considered endgame level equipment.

For example, they could either increase loot per week from Labyrinth into 2 or 3 gears per week once they release Crystal Tower in the CT raid storyline while moving the 1 loot per week from Labyrinth loots into Crystal Tower loots.

I am going to guess..... no, no, and no.

I for one hope so. After 5 straight weeks of PLD body (yes, my static is currently 5/5 on Heavy Allagan Armor) and accessories dropping (none of which were healer or BRD), the chance to go back and try to pick up actual gear would be a welcome change.

That or keep the lockouts but fix the drop tables so some jobs can actually gear their mains in Allagan (though in my eyes, it's intentional. Lack of tanks so they throw tank gear at you in the hopes you'll level it if you have the gear. That and trying to extend content for as long as they possibly can. AWESOME)

Prediction time:

Restriction on Myth removed, lockout on turns 1-5 of Coil removed, more Myth from dungeons, 1-5 easier to beat, new restriction added to new tomes, and weekly lockout on 6-10. CT will probably also see a shorter lockout, like 3 days as opposed to a week. Then again they might remove the lockout for that too since we'll have ilvl 100 or 110.

But it's hard to really say what they'll do. Usually they remove lockouts on older content and put them on the new content in MMOs, though. So we should see something like that for 2.2.

I doubt that they change the lockouts on CT in 2.2.
Maybe in 2.3

I got a idea on CT how bout changing order of bosses or change a boss or 2. I can only handle doing it 2 times and im sick of the zergfest...

My guess is in 2.2

We will get all item level 95-100 armor with new Baha Lab stuff.
get a new currency that caps at 300 per week to give equivalent stuff to the new Baha lab stuff.
And Myth will be raised to 600 per week.

GEAR TREADMILL WOOO!!!!! EXCITING I BET EVERYONE CANNOT HOLD BACK THE EXCITEMENT OF DOING EVERYTHING AGAIN!... but in all seriousness SE needs to do a 180 from what they are doing atm they are going down the wrong path. Can't wait to spend months getting gear with +2 more of each stat.............
