Trying to figure out what I90 is better. Can't decide, they both seem good. But how useful is extra piety on WHM? Thyrus just seems a bit better with Det and Skill Speed. This is a third job, so not the most familiar with it.

I just want to say, Omnirod is SO UGLY!! Even worse than the scholar book >.<
Apart from that, I still prefer Thyrus Zenith. Although SS is useless, I value Det more than Crit, and I haven't had (much) mana issue for all the end games except turn 5. I only get to the fireball phase and already seeing myself losing mana like hell, but I doubt the extra Piety from Omnirod will help much.
The differences between the 2 are minimal 26 DET will give you a minuscule healing boost and PIE will give you more MP regen. If you have the x Primal's on farm you might as well Pick up the Omnirod and get the Myth armour first and come back to the Thyrus Zenith last. If you don't have the X Primal's on farm and have 900 Myth kicking around Probably get the Thyrus
happy healing :)
Zenith imo. Determination and looks better xD
Currently using Zenith and it hasn't failed me yet. However I'm more a Determination/Crit build, mostly just personal preference. When grouped with a bard I have 4800 mana and its worked fine for me. Of course Twin has yet to drop my staff, so until that drops I'll be using Zenith.
Depending on how many pieces of i90 armor pieces you have, the Omnirod's Piety can help out a good deal. If you're sitting on 4500+ MP without food or party buffs, you should be plenty good to go with lower to no reliance on Mage's Ballad.
Third job? Always get primal weapon if you consistently clear them every week. You'll have them all eventually. Save that myth for armor!
I'm going with the omni since I'd rather spend myth on accessories (I play sch and whm, and they're secondary to my smn and I need to spend myth on my pld too).
The crit alone on Omnirod makes the choice for a decision. Crit is probably the worst secondary stat for WHM while det/SpS, while not that great, are much more valuable
Main = +1. Alt = Primal weapons.
I've recently changed my mind on crit for WHM cause of the non-issue of enmity. Having a cure 3 crit.. is massively efficient. Cure 2 as well.. on hard hitting fights like titan or twintania or dreadnought p4.. I even heard regen and medica 2 ticks can crit..
There' something to be said for the Pie. Especially if you don't have a bunch of i90 already.
Just because there's a lot of random stats flying around... It's an alt, don't go zenith. That'd be a waste of myth. If it were your main, I'd say zenith all the way.
About WHM stats: all of our secondaries are pretty useless. Find a build that works best for you. Some prefer SS, others crit. I'm working on a set for both, so I have fight situational gear. IE: crit T4, SS for Ultima, etc
Unless you a black mage or monk. That elder staff is hot fiya
Yep regen/med 2 do crit. I was going for a DET build myself, but I may end up getting the myth access so I can use em between my whm/sch. The crit i get on cures and cure 2's are always nice. Even if I overheal some, it gives me time to do other things like buff a tank, buff the other healer, or sit back and do a little dance.
Just chiming in to place emphasis on how ugly Omnirod looks. Seriously, that thing is hideous.
I think the omnirod, as well as the sch and smn books, LOOK AWESOME!
C'mon, you don't want a big nosed head on your healing staff or your book? It even looks around and blinks. You can also use it to clip the head of one of your friends and take fun screen shots. Can't wait to get my face books and my head staff.
Yeah I got all my Myth for PLD (main) and already got my Eldar Staff for BLM, so I have extra myth that's why I was curious. I think I'm gonna go Omnirod though. Thanks for input.
Omnirod. The massive MP boost tipped me over to 5.18k in a party, and having that much more mana is a bigger increase than the determination and spell speed on Thyrus Zenith. Now if only Twintania will drop my staff....
the advantage i like from a spellspeed build is casting esuna on the move without interuption, thats valuable occasionally, well probably more valuable than +1-2% crit chance anyway
