Looking for Server/New to FF

Heya :D

Like the topic says I'm just starting out in FFXIV (I never played XI but I've played many other mmo's) and looking for a "home" for my noob self xD (NA Server)

I'm basically looking for an active, fun community and hopefully an awesome Free Company (I think that is what you call guilds here, haha <---total noob) that can help make the game more enjoyable.

I'm not entirely sure what class I want to play atm and I don't mind making something different. I just want to see what the game is all about :)

If you are on Hyperion, the FC i'm in, "Origins" is pretty homey and always helpful. I had never played any FF game either and have found many helpful friends in my current FC.

My FC on Midgardsormr is pretty active and helpful to new folks, if you were considering hopping servers. If you do, find me online after 4PM PST.

Leviathan is also a great server. As the leader of our FC i am very much on every night.
We are very small but love to help players out

We would love to have you on Balmung! Newer FC with a lot of lower level jobs that help eachother a lot. Dragon's Dawn <Zori> we are a helpful and laid back, drama free FC. We are not focused on end game yet but will help wherever we can. So far everyone in the FC is very helpful, wether with questions, dungeons, leveling etc. We plan on a non mandatory Light RP day now and then as well. Can send an in game tell to Krystal Snow, Khalan Sedai, Gyles Ra'tava or Tenishi Lightwing. Almost always at least one of us on. Would be great to have you join us!

Would just like to point out that because you rolled on a legacy server, if you decide to transfer you can only transfer to other legacy servers. If you want to go to a non legacy you'll have to reroll you character.

Not to sound noobish but...what is a linkshell?? :O

It's basically another way to communicate with another group of people. Think of it as another FC, minus the perks (ie. levelling xp, crafting xp, etc...). I believe you can have up to 8 Linkshells but only 1 FC.
