So i noticed that they changed the tooltip on Awareness skill from
"Reduces the chance of suffering critical damage by 25%."
to
"Nullifies chance of suffering critical damage."
So is it still the same chance or did it receive a buff?

I haven't really had time to test it but I had been wondering myself... anyone know?
You won't be hit by Critical hits is all. Very useful.
It's useless in the coil though.
its fixed, you can receive crits heals now too, winner winner
Enemy Autoattacks can Crit, their spells and abilities can't.
Awareness is actually worth using now whenever you're in danger of taking a big nasty hit of damage, and taking an unlucky autoattack hit at the same time might push you over your limit.
I tend to pop it alongside Bulwark, which is also "Chance based" mitigation.
Since you can't see when a Crit "Doesn't happen" you can't really tell when it's working, but its a little extra insurance for normalising incoming damage.
Awareness is reaaaaaaaaaaaal bad, even in its fixed state. At least it doesn't punish you for wanting to see the neat animation anymore.
That. Apologies.
Posting from work, and had a Friday Brain Derp :)
Incidentally, I've been looking rather lustfully at the new Onion Shield's stats. When I get one I *may* end up taking it over the Allagan Round Shield, need to see how the extra Block chance stacks up.
EX Titan, and EX Ifrit are both relevant pieces of content that can chunk you with a crit auto attack. Awareness has a pretty amazing duration, and can be kept up for almost a whole duration of "tanking" in these bosses before you swap. Had a tank get downed by crit auto attack + 1 stack mountain buster on EX Titan the other day. Was pretty funny.
So it is confirmed that it DOES allow critical heals to occur now? Any proof or info on this claim? Because I would finally love to start using it instead of when the healers are dead and I am hoping to stay alive long enough for the boss to die haha.
So for coil its better to have Featherfoot instead of Awareness ?
Sadly paladins cant use featherfoot.
