About the titan extreme mode and coil ... you guys think in future it will be nerfed?

Well... i already got my primal weapon but one thing is frustating... i "have" to do it every week.The big problem is... is rare see a good group.. even group that defeated titan still doing wipes lol today i tried the entire day with diferent "cleared before" party and i defeated it now after 12 hours of gameplay. i think i will skip all those primal weapons because i just play 1-2 hours per day and i need lv up my jobs for future updates.
so.. the real question is... do you think titan extreme(COB T5 too) will be nerfed later?

Of course it will yoshida has stated that as new content comes out old content will be nerfed, for an example see how AK got nerfed in the last patch.

Now i'm happy +_+ lol i really don't have much time to play... so i need skip then and focus in others things lol and other thing... is true titan hard mode got "nerf"? peoples in excalibur told that but i don't see it in 2.1 patch notes

Considering Titan HM is still in his 2.0 group wiping glory, when there's a harder version with better rewards avaliable, by the time the EM gets nerfed their weapons will be obsolete.

well AK mobs and bosses HP are nerfed by around 20%, apply that to titan ex and twintania, thats a lot lol

You don't have to do it every week. You can do it once a week (if you only want the token for the weapon).
Nothing bad happen if you miss a week.

If u miss it u will be PERMANENTLY and FOREVER behind others.

if you don't have 8 alts you want to gear up just take it easy. it takes many more hours for me to level up an alt than to clear titan ex. by about the second wipe you can tell if the party is gonna make it or not anyways.

As far as I've heard, you can only do garuda once a week after defeating the 3 EX primals once and still get a weapon every 3 weeks. I might have been trolled though.

(The theory was to defeat the 3 once, THEN only you can do whichever EXyou find easier once a week to get 1 rowena's act each week)

Haha 12 hours just on titan ex must have been a long trip. i can understand your stress :D
Reading your post, i figured you still didn't master the HM version of battles like titan not being carried, i may be wrong :)
By the time it's nerfed it means it's an useless dungeon where you would have difficulties to find a group still running it at all.
Add to this extreme skins are pure junk, here you are.
Extremes are online as a special hard challenge , meant to be harder then what you experienced on the HM version.
If you don't have time to master them, wait when it's nerfed crap (like wp or ak now i write) , your level is raised and you have gear to kill all of them buttonspamming for 3 minutes not even arriving to phase 3 pwning them :)

Nay, you get a unique totem from each Ex Primal, and after you complete all three, you end up giving the set to Rowena's lackey in exchange for 3 tokens. The next week, you can pick up a weekly quest from that lackey which requires you to get all 3 totems again, except this time you can do them in any order you want. Still need one of each kill.

I have the feeling that Duty finder trials will not be nerfed because it's extremely trivial to try again for as long as you want.

Coil nerf is almost certain tho, but I expect only T5 to be nerfed.

I don't think they'll Nerf the extreme primals. There's no real reason to fight them other than a great group challenge, right? Its not like they're part of a story or main quest.

Coil, I could imagine a Nerf.

Why nerf it? It's extreme mode for a reason? It's for those people that want that type of challenge. I for one welcome anything difficult. heaven forbid side content that you're not required to do omit a certain demographic of gamer.

Coil will be nerfed in 2.2 when the new turns are released. It will be the same as the main scenario buff. Also, why does titan EX need to be nerfed? This game wont be any fun at all if they keep nerfing encounters so baddies can actually clear it.

its one week now, but what if you miss it twice, then its 2 weeks your behind, etc. Thats the entire reason Weekly Caps are bad design. you cannot catch up if you miss a week, and they hurt more than they help. it would be far simpler to just cap the total number you can obtain and increase that each week, so if you miss a week you can catch up, but you cant ever go past the cumulative total available.

On no.. You mean if I don't have primal weapons on all nine classes I'm behind forever? And I will be judged as a noob because I only play two classes?

I will fight him many times, but prob kill 3 times willingly lol...1 for my bow, 1 for blm staff, 1 for blm shield. When different classes come out I might revisit him. If my FC needs help - I will help them. I won't be there for shites and giggles.

Behind on what exactly? It's 9 weapons, some of which are arguably worse than the 90 zenith ones. There's still no progression past allagan/myth gear in 2.1 so you're honestly not missing much of anything if it takes you a week or two or three to start getting the EM primals down. Calm down.

You don't necessarily have to do it in the span of a week you know, right? while it's certainly ideal, my understanding is if you don't clear all 3 in one week you can still finish it the next week but if that happens you won't be able to turn in again until the week after you turned in.

They should change the idea of weekly caps to not have it be a number that keeps resetting to 450, but rather adds +450 to the previous week each week. That way it still controls content but allows players who fall behind to catch up if they try really hard.

So cap is 450 this week, then next week cap is 900, then 1350, etc. Pros will cap it every week but casuals who suddenly get a week off can catch up. Important thing is pace of gear acquisition is still controlled. And all players put in the same effort still just at their own paces.

This was already shot down by the devs, and it's not hard to cap the tomestones anymore even if you don't play a lot.

You snooze, you lose. I don't see it as being fair that if I play regularly I have to wait while someone else can leave the game for a month or two and come back having a cap of thousands that they might not even ever achieve. There would have to be a limit to this for them to even consider it, like if you miss one week you can make it up the next one, but it only goes back one week.

once you know the runs, you can burn through turn 1-4 in barely more time than any other dungeon, and you get 150 mythtomes. hard mode dungeons give 50 and can be completed in 15-20 mins easily, crystal tower also gives 50 and if you join in progress you can pretty easily get 50 tomes for little effort. so it takes 9 dungeon runs to cap, or 6 + coil if you do coil 1-4. Just doing one dungeon a day gets you close to the cap- if you don't have 20 minutes to spare on a regular basis then MMORPGs just aren't for you- that's about as casual as it can get.

You start to catch up the moment the first on the server got every loot from the extreme primals and can't get more.

YOu know you cna turn off the echo buff right? So its a best of both worlds. You can always get the challenge you want and those who aren't up to your level can see content(Because there is a ques tto these you know)

It's not like you will be coming back to do them.

And "baddies" also pay for the game. They are entitled to see the story.

it's probably inevitable that its going to be nerfed but I certainly hope it won't be nerfed too much. I like challenges

Titan Ex is painful... So many group so many wipes. So many Japanese parties ... that want JP only.

Is there no way to have content that is hard but not trollfests? Some twitch game play is great and all. But Titan EX is all about twitch reflect. The whole reason it is hard is twitch and lag.

I am sick of wiping again and again due to people that cannot take the twitch. Makes me see red at others. Then I make a mistake, just a tiny one, and now it is me that cause people to see red. Makes me rage all around. But mostly I blame/rage at SE for making a boss that is all about twitch. Phrase 3 has so many stuff going on that a macro sec of a single player mistake is a total wipe. That too me is not good mechanics.

I think Garuda ex is a more well tuned fight. Why can't Titan be more like that? Instead of relying on twitch to "be pro".

hahaha echo buffs aren't gonna help if Titan can still send you flying off the stage. Better get good at it now than later.
