Fresh 50, needs advice.

I don't know if this is the right place to post, but i just wanted to know what level gear is needed for CT or any other end game dungeon? Because it's never stated and people just bitch and whine if you have the wrong level gear and I just want to get into the dungeon, do what i have to do and get my tombs. So what's the right gear level?

If you meet the minimum requirements, you can do it, people might not want to take you because they want easy mode runs, but it can still easily be beaten as long as you are A) paying attention B) play your class.

Learn to eat humble pies. A lot of humble pies. Listen to advice. Tell ppl its your first time doing xyz, it helps a lot.

I second both of the above replies. My gear isn't ideal, but I find that if you communicate to your party, you'll be fine.

It also helps if you go with FC members since they're generally not as horrible as randoms. But you should be able to get into CT with only a few pieces of Darklight. I'm not sure what the actual ilevel requirements are for CT though. Also, I noticed you were on Ultros. If you need someone to tank dungeons for ya or run with ya just send me a friends invite in game. I don't mind helping new people in dungeons and what not.

Always tell your party you are new and need help/advice. I've helped many groups who thought that the new hard modes were severely hard and punishing learn them the right way and make their play experience all the better. Sometimes being new gives us more seasoned travelers an incentive to be a better part of the community. Of course there will be some random douches out there, best to just avoid them and ignore them. They will destroy their own experience much faster than your own. Personal experience of an ex-douche player from older MMO's. :)

Do lots of daily high level & main scenario roulette, especially if you have NOT unlocked hard mode mines or manor. Use the tomes to fill out on Darklight. You're probably fine to do CT until you get a gear drop each week too.

Start in wanderers palace and AK those are the easy dungeons to get tomes and gear to hold you over till you get some dl

Now ilevel restrictions have been put on events in DF anyone who comlpains about your gear is automatically being elitist (I hate that word because it's overused and because it's not always a bad thing).

SE have run the numbers. The event can be completed with all the alliance at that ilevel. Most people will be well above it, so the run won't suffer for having a few members at sub-darklight.

With the 200 Phil, 50 Myth per ~60 mins and one i80 piece per week I can't think of a more efficient way to gear a first job up.

I highly recommend doing to the Duty Roulette for the main scenario every chance you get (well, every day for the bonus anyway). As boring as it can get, you'll get 300 philo tomes you can put towards the various DL armors to help gear you up. It makes gearing up a lot faster and you can avoid a bit of the grind that way.
