Crystal Tower Loot Issue

I don't mind that they do the lockout for gear once a week but I ran into an issue earlier today that made me worry there was some unintended oversight to the system.

We got to the end of Crystal Tower and a pair of tank legs dropped from the final boss. As I was looking over stats to see if it would be better to have them instead of the one-piece legs/feet I had, the whole party bailed.

Once the last person left I automatically received the loot then was locked out of looting on anything else for a week.

I'm not too concerned since it resets tomorrow and I can use the gear but I think with the lockout of gear something needs to be changed. Something as simple as not auto-giving the loot the "last man standing" and allowing them to still "Need/Greed/Pass" until the time runs out. Then if the time runs out have it auto-discard instead of go someones inventory.

Yes, this happened to me as well - I didn't expect it everyone to be gone in 10 seconds from the instance. I read a letter from Yoshi-P that indicated this was as intended, though. It's a bummer, just have to be quick on the final roll.

That really sucks, but while many people discussed the loot system in CT already i hope that SE is giving CT-Loot a complete makeover.
I'm okay with the 1-item-per-week thing, but there are a few things that need to be changed asap.

I accidently got a pair of monk boots this week, I forgot to pass or my party left to quick or something. Ended up getting them made me a sad faced person

Never run into this issue but ya it should be fixed.

they could have the loot not given to players if they did not greed, need, or pass.

I think the whole things stupid it's only lvl 80 equipment, I vote no idiotic limitations. We are paying to play the game on a monthly basis I expect to earn as much as I want as fast or slow as I want without being restricted on every single thing.

I'd prefer a ~30sec delay between defeat of boss and the appearance of the exit for ALL dungeons.

In addition to loot issues, it allows us to get a commendation in every now and again.



*granted, the hardcore speed-runners might whine about a change like this, but speed running only relative...

This. Usually I can't give commendation or end up with useless loot because all others have already left while I was trying to skip the boss death CS

BUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHANGE THIS CRAPPY LOOT SYSTEM. Edit why not just wait until the Treasure Timer is up? its like 210sec or something idr.

Basically, they will look into fixing/adjusting this as soon as they can. Until then "please select PASS on items you don't need as soon as you are able to".

Awesome! Thanks Emili! I'm sure we will see it in the English dev tracking soon enough.

Bumping cause I see other people posting things of a similar nature and 'm hoping we get an official answer sometime soon to go up in the English Dev tracking.
