Is Duty finder time getting worse.

Its become very noticeable to me ever since 2.1 launched that now i wait anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour for a Duty finder match. Is anyone getting the same thing.

Agree, I waited 2hrs while levelling/quests on alt jobs...

Going toward the start of the week vs going at the end of the week effects wait times. When people are not myth capped they will be running a lot more dungeons vs toward the end of the week.

i dotn know, ive been seeing it bad all week long. 45 minutes o an hour every time. i was wondering if its all just an issue with players not joining or something technical

There seems to be an issue with DF. Queues are longer, more chances of reserving instance, higher dc drop rates. Sometimes I wonder are those member have withdrawn messages are due to ttolling or it server issues.

Queuing by myself is a guaranteed 30+ min wait.

Queuing with a tank = insta pop.

It depends, what are you queuing for? What are you queuing as? what time of day are you queuing? Are you using the duty roulette? are you queuing for more than one dungeon at once? What languages are you selecting?

Basically, there is much omitted from your OP to be able to accurately assess your question\statement.

In return, I can only comment from my experiences and use my own details. When I queue as a tank or Healer, I can get a queue in 5 min or less. Much less if i'm using the duty roulette, and that is any time of the day for those jobs. When I'm trying to level my BLM I expect a long queue time so I go off and search for quests, the odd FATE or my hunting log, or even harvest/craft while I wait because I expect a long queue time for a DPS. Sometimes upwards of 30 min or a little as 10 min. If I use the duty Roulette as DPS I can get a party in less than 10min or if I use the Party finder I can get a quick group. Also, whenever I queue I make sure I tick the "Join party in progress" button and make sure I have all 4 Language buttons selected. I'm familiar enough with the dungeons that I feel I can do them with little communication if necessary.

Aside from just the DF/PF I try to get FC mates to help me out which makes it even quicker.

So, no. I dont see the times getting longer at all. If anything, we have more tools at our disposal to make things quicker

DoL/DoH, make some money while you wait if you want to do roulette/dungeons on dps.

What is making things worst is the abuse of the DF funcionality with trolls destroying the commence pulling. The player is sent back in queue for his seat on a new istance. DF can be long 2 hours and more too with this abuse.

I dunno what it is, but I get a pop for the roulette within 5 minutes as a DPS for the low level one. After that if I specifically pick a dungeon I'm waiting forever.

Party Finder has made DF a thing of less need.

This. Very, very cool scene.

I normally use Scholar but these past weeks I've been using Dragoon most of the time.

Most of my DF wait time is lower than 10 minutes. Only once I had to wait 20 and I think it was with Scholar and not DRG.

Uhm wat? If people want to make parties, they will make parties. The thing is now rather than shouting, people can just join what meets their needs and if not DF is there for them.

Noticed as soon as they changed the data centers again, queues have been terrible.

I have been trying to get into Cape Westwind since I hit 50 last week and never got a group even after 3 hours.:mad:

well my 90 day sub time is up in 2 days and I am sure most of the people who started at beta are coming up on the same thing. This month you will see how many people stay or leave.
I do not know what I will do yet sub for another month or not . 2.1 I was looking forward to pvp and it is god awfull , housing and it is far more expensive then we all thought plus selling items on market is now very hard to do.the fate nerf has made leveling other classes a duty finder grind fest. And I am a bard we kinda got kicked in the teeth for no reason at all.
