Trailer Map Request

I know this has been mentioned in other threads before but I would just like to bring it to it's own thread. I'm sure many of the current players and any of those who have watched the trailer would love to see the map from the original trailer in game. The crystal clear water, the roaring waterfalls, and the bright blue sky with the lush greenery up and down the cliffs. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAFyFCqCEW0 at 1:16) We have all seen many of the other current final fantasy titles and their graphic capabilities. They have the capability to put this in correctly with much better water simulation then they currently have. So, I am making a formal request for this map to be implemented at some point during the games lifespan. (Preferably during the first expansion pack.) I'm sure many would enjoy to see it and it is already a perfect concept for a future map.

Thank you for your time and if all of you think this map would be bad for the game simply don't post and allow the thread to drift away into the abyss that is the other bad threads people lost care in.

P.S.: There is someone who made the map very nicely with the Crysis engine but I don't think that applies here so I won't bother linking it for now.

P.P.S.: I didn't know that this was Mor Dhona because I'm not smart, but I'm still all for the beautiful area being put in as a back in time map or something involving the echo. ;D

That cryengine map looks very nice. Here's hoping SE doesn't make 90% of it untravelable! I suspected it was going to be used for our first real "end game" area. *shrug*

I agree. I'd love to see this too as large grassland/ areas or beachside areas have always been amazing sights in FF games.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the area in question is already in the game and it is currently quite different than you might be hoping. Note the opening movie...

What area? @.@ I haven't seen anything even remotely close to it.

Mor Dhona! That is the area in the opening movie! LOL!!! that is where your lush lakes and waterfalls and trees are they were destroyed by the Empire and those pesky dragons!

yep! maybe we can do a WotG thing and eventually be able to go to the past and travel around in the beautiful landsacpe, but currently it is a wasteland destroyed by the war.

Maybe something echo related?

that is what the opening cutscene is so I can see that happening... the whole opening cutscene is an echo event to that hyur...

I mean such as in game, for our characters to experience and run around in and such. ;D

I think it would come soon but it will have to wait till:
1) the game is fixed.
2) the current war and activities against the empire are taken care of, or pushed back.

but I think we will be getting something like that soon, and if they make them leve's it would make it more interesting... but I also hope it isn't leve locked...
