I like the Axe, I just wish it had a bit more eye candy. Glows or something...

The staff for whm is way better than relic+1... only thing bad is ugly but that's why vanity will work for. Extreme weapon and vanity with relic+1 :p

The White Mage staff looks like an old man.

The whm staff talks to you though! I kind've like the staff tbh. I'm getting it next lockout.

I'm not even close to beating all three primals yet, could you explain how getting the weapon works? Do you receive it for the class you played as beating the final primal or can you just choose whichever one you like?

It's a weekly quest you get in RT. You kill all 3 ems to complete the quest and you get 3 tokens to spend at the vendor next to the myth/philo vendor. It's the same vendor as the event items.

How do you get these? do you have to do all 3 primals 3 times or does doing them once over give you enough tokens?

First time you get a quest for each primal in order (Garuda -> Titan -> Ifrit), have to go unlock them again by going to their crystals. Each primal drops a key item. Once you kill Ifrit, you will be sent to Mor Dhona to complete the questline. That will unlock the repeatable weapon quest and give your weapon tokens for the first week.

Second week onward you talk to the NPC in Mor Dhona to get the repeatable quest (resets same time as coil reset). After that, you can kill the primals in any order you want and you will get the key items again if you have the quest. Deliver the key items, more weapon tokens for you.

It's just one kill per primal. You can still try doing it today and get this week's weapon, btw.

Also, once you get the token, you don't necessarily have to trade them for a weapon right away. You can wait for as long as you want before buying the weapon, the weekly lock is for getting the token only, not buying the actual weapon.

The lance looks nice, but good lord the stats are poop.

Well thought I hit the quote button. I mean the bow btw

BRD main, but have +1 Bow and felt like it was a waste to get Elfin. Also would need to switch some things around to make the ACC work for T4/5 in Coil. So I went with the Elder Staff on my gimp BLM. Love the red tapering at the bottom and the thing has sick stats.

Decided to go for the bow first, switch around my accessories a bit to make up for the accuracy lost, try out some Turn 5 after that and it seems fine, accuracy is probably around 98-99%. Going to get Hellish Claw next, that claw looks awesome. Others in my team got the sad book, claw, BLM staff, WHM staff and the PLD sword and onion shield. Seems like they haven't post up their pics so couldn't add it in here.

Both. The quest only pops weekly with the weekly reset and you can only complete it once for 3 tokens to turn in. So beat Extreme Primals in the week you got it, grab your weapon and repeat when the quest repops.

The bw is pretty nice, and it's not glowing like a light bulp.

But why on earth is it a cavalry/short bow?
I loved it leveling with long bows... a pitty.

So if I beat Garuda and Titan this week, but not Ifrit by next Monday, I would have to start over?

Sorry if it's a silly question, our first 3 tokens, do we get after the very first time we kill them or after the very first time you kill them a second time?

Shame that I can't get these weapons for any of my jobs because of accuracy los. But I will keep the tokens and exchange them for weapons when vanity slots come. :))
Probably going for the lance first, the bow is quite ugly.

no time frame to do it but the quest only resets once per week so you want to finish before monday so it can be done again for another weapon.

No its not. Lower heals for what, more mana? Mana isn't an issue and nothing scales with piety, so how is it better?
