server lag

thought they would fix it eventually...

This is something that's becoming more and more of an issue for me as well....I get zero lag running around in the normal game outside of what's considered normal for this game. Once I go into a dungeon in Duty Finder though, it's really awesome to sit through 2-5 delays on boss fights and whatnot....pretty wonderful.

Same here. This is making it next to impossible to partake in any of the new primal battles and dungeons. There is way too much rubberbanding going on in the last few days.

This is only happening with FFXIV.

Yeah, wiping Twintania because of this. So frustrating.

Last night I lagged so bad in CT when switching crossbars most of my abilities wouldn't show up... was really fun.

Ultima and Good king I don't lag at all. Go into EMs and its a lag fest. I refuse to even try titan because of the lag. Garuda is bad enough with the lag we have now.

Lag can't be eliminated but it can be reduced. However the frequency of which it occurs atm is very annoying and makes simple tasks like gathering impossible. I don't lag I just straight disconnect. The server or client fails to send then I get the red ring but oddly enough the server will stabilize and I will still be stuck in "Disconnect" mode unable to do anything thus having to fore quit the game. I can't play for more than an hour without experiencing this and while I thought it was my ISP, I ran cmd from my home to their data center in Montreal and average 62 ms with no packets lost. If its not me then its obviously SE.

P.S. I'm on PS3 but I never had this excessive issue since the early days of launch.

I can't wait until another "Server Upgrade" that does absolutely nothing...

I think SE will fix it once they exhaust all other options to try to fix it to save them money, and in the end having to actually fix it which will cost them more money because than they will have the cost of the actual fix plus the other fixes.

I see it happen to ppl all the time at my job they try to save money by doing a bs fix cause the actual fix costs to much, than the bs fix doesnt work so than they just have to do the actual fix which in the long run costs so much more money.

Didn't you know? Sqenix is in partnership with WTFast and Battleping, conspiring to make you pay $20+ a month for sub + VPN.

And knowing is half the battle. GI JOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEEEE

I hate thinking that the game is still unplayable on prime time. Please SE, do something, anything. Dying to the stupid shriek because the server couldn't recognize me doing two steps forward? When will it end?

I'm having lag issues just switching btw jobs and menus on the mb

Bump because it's getting worse with each update. SE, you really need to a hard look at this issue.

I live in california but im playing from europe now.

Before 2.1, here in europe anything remotely difficult was unplayable, since the patch i can dodge everything in titan and have no lag at all..


BUT in the areas where they did not upgrade the server response rate, like hydra or old ultima, Im halfway across the room from things still getting hit.

I loaded up battleping but it actually doesnt do anything for me from europe in this regard.

I hope they fix the server response rate for all areas and things D:

Idk what's happening but all of a sudden while trying to do leves in south shroud i started getting super laggy. can't complete any leves as the mobs stop taking dmg but keep dmging me. started getting all the usual errors 10002, and so on. Can't even get past the login screen now.

I wonder for how long will Sanchez give a daily report of his crossing around the lag desert.

I got brutalized trying to tank Aurum Vale last night for an LSmate. Coin Counter is so f*ing fun when not only does he not telegraph moves, but the whole game freezes around me constantly for 5 seconds at a time and he uses his 5000 damage Swing during the WHOAFASTFORWARD lag recovery spike.

So delay
Much nothing happening
Wow so death
Such many wipes
Wow time's up
Such failing.

Get it together SE. You guys make the content, and its good. Now make it PLAYABLE and we'd all be happy.
