So anyone else feel heavy?

So anyone else is feeling a bit heavy on Lag Spikes lately when running Dungeons?

Seems a lot of people are having this issue now.

I'm guessing it the who Severs reaching maximum capacity thing.

I heard there's going to be some sort of network update soon. Evidently this recent drop in performance is engineered by benevolent aliens from the future, disguised as government agents. Their ulterior motive is to show humankind the amount of greatness we can achieve when we set our mind to something, in this case a massive increase in network performance. This collective change of outlook will in turn be the force that breaks the martian aggression of 2029.

Slightly more on topic, yes. Recently had a Hydra run where pretty much the entire group was lagging heavily. Can assume christmas sales went well.

I've been seeing the opposite actually. All my FC members who used to get terrible lag have been able to play normally since 2.1, and my own rare lag spikes are gone too.

I noticed that. Haven't got skill delays, but I often see people standing still and them zapping ahead.

I've had some rubber banding this week, had it happen on the second boss of Haukke manor HM which was handy because I think the only thing missing from that fight is more dead BLM's:p

I feel heavy after all the christmas dinner.

And yes, I also got some lag spikes.

well this lag spike been happening today. Yesterday it was perfectly fine but today it seems people are having hops in dungeons.

People came back, so wait a bit till they ragequit out of boredom and despair.

I just started playing a few days ago, and I haven't experienced bad latency until today. Skills are taking forever to load up and actually go through with their animation. Menus taking forever to load up and such. At first I thought it was my ISP (my internet lags sometimes at different points in the day). I've tested to see if it was my connection on the other games I play, but there wasn't any (or much) at all. I'm just assuming the FF servers are going through a hiccup phase? Still, I'm actually liking this game quite a bit. It's fun regardless of the latency issues. :o

i had a lagspike a couple of days ago in ultima. everyone else on my screen stopped moving so i just ran around. checked my ping, still good and i was still on ts. so i pretty much died there and then, but then i heard my fc members laughing as i was running around. cuz my dead body was moving around with me when i did that. pretty weird. soon after i got the dreaded 90k. thats the worst one i had so far

doing dungeons today was absolutely terrible

stance changing on my monk took forever, aetherflow and bane kept not going off

a lot of rubberbanding etc

well let wait for tomorrow and see if this get fixed or not. If it doesn't then we should be seeing more reports about server issues arriving after the patch they had last night.

Yes, it is ridiculous right now.

I'm somehow immune to the heavy effect since I live in Montreal XD

Yeah, was hoping it wasn't just my own connection. Been lagging in stuff like Titan Extreme (screen and characters freeze for 3-5 seconds) and having it make me look bad....:o
