Serious issues with Alliances in CT [Trolling]

Its entirely too easy for full groups of people to sign up and troll.

Just had a full 8 man group from Balmung troll our entire run. Kiting their adds into other parties. Purposely switching out of shield oath and losing hate claiming it was an accident. standing in fire / not killing adds and laughing about it.

This has happened on multiple different runs with different groups. And there is nothing you do but either wipe until the time runs out, or quit and take a 30min penalty.

There needs to be a vote kick - full alliance, for other alliances. If a majority of players from Alliance A and B, want Alliance C gone, they should be able too.

Also, P.S. How do you report an entire alliance worth of people for intentionally griefing other players?

EDIT: Just to clarify, only one of the runs (that I know of) was Balmung, the one that was most recent and the cause of this post.
This has happened on a few different runs with different groups though.

Ok first I have to b sympathetic and say that sounds terrible.

Second I have to admit that's a smidge funny as ₩% ¥€

I've seen it happen numerous times. People chaining mobs. Or running in, starting a boss fight, then running out so the other 2 groups die if they run in.

Oh my god, I was just in the same run with you. I came here to see if there were any complaints about similar issues, only to find a complaint about the exact issue, lol. That was seriously the worst run I've ever been in, or ever will be in. I absolutely berated those people, and it takes a lot to get me to do that.

Wipe on Behemoth because the giant is chasing everyone around cleaving. Wipe again because no comets. Someone facepulls Behemoth. Someone facepulls Behemoth again. A third time, because why not.

Wipe on last boss because people aren't on platform. Wipe again because same. Get killed because they kite their giant to us while shield is up.

I mean... really? And that's only the last two bosses. The whole run was terrible. Took twice as long as normal. I honestly can't believe someone would spend hours of their life just to troll. I can sort of understand a little trolling, but that amount of time invested just baffles me.

Alas not all of us can spend 24/7 in our mums basement, playing this game.

They clearly have nothing better to do sadly.

Report any one of them is enough. Whoever unlucky get ban becoz of their friends stupidity

I had a player who was obviously drunk at the time main tanking in CT, and his alliance wouldn't allow anyone else to MT or they would deliberately wipe. Oddly, this was one of the quickest CT runs I've had so far.

One of my Free Company members was in your run (she recognizes your name), but she says that her group was not the problem. She said Alliance C (which was someone else) was causing the issues. ...she also said it was one of the worst runs she'd ever seen, and was talking about wanting to strangle tanks.

Are you sure it was people from Balmung?

But on that note, I was in a CT run last week that was just god awful. Alliance A was solid, my group was solid, but Alliance B was just...pants on head. Their healer pulled King Behemoth - twice. They didn't even TRY to handle their adds on the flambeau miniboss guy. They did nothing to help with adds on the bone dragon boss (even as the adds were running by them -_-). They were constantly dead. It was just a nightmare. We finished the raid with like, 1 minute to spare. -_-

Any duty finder content I do I go with JP group's. Trolls don't exist there.

Yeah, I understand that people aren't always the best players, but its not a skill issue in these cases, its people trolling just to troll. And I can't say 100% for sure that it was a premade of 8, but that was the general thought, since all their trolling they seemed to be aware of ahead of time.

I.e. pulling atomos, then running out of the zone when the other 2 groups go in. so that they will be un able to fight an die. Multiple times. Waiting until you are about 10% on atomos then all running off the pad so yours resets to full HP, then talking shit about how slow you are at killing it.

yeah there is some mistake but everyone make one....atleast they not trolling and try their best and if any alliance cant win at atomos,they change strategy by sending 1 of other alliance member to help (happen to my alliance)

If that FC is the one I think it is, I'm sorry you ran into them, some of them are jerks but they're not an adequate representation of Balmung players.

The other alliance would potentially abuse this system if this was the case. SE should've allowed for premade alliances for CT.

i made a post about this the other day. you kick them a few seconds later right back trolling.

we NEED unlimited use of vote to kick. and getting kicked for trolling should lock you out for the total time the dungeon can run. CT 2 hours to finish = 2hr lockout. since they have nothing better to do they wont mind.

You would limit a group to 1 ATTEMPT, per 4hrs or 8hrs or even 24hrs.

So at most, they could boot one group, and with that. BOTH the other groups have to agree to kick the 3rd. Chances of 2 groups agreeing to abuse it and kick the 3rd are extremely low, and the only way they could communicate it would be to use Alliance chat. So group 3 could just screen shot it and report the players.

My party felt trolled by party B and C last time too...but the players were just bad. Which was quite hilarious because team C has been trash talking since we started. They quickly shut up after wiping 5 times though.

had the same thing with one group talking crap the entire time until they decided they were going to show us how it was done at KB. Next thing we know, kb is cleaving his way through the comets and casters along with the iron giant and we had our only wipe of the raid.

Yeah, bad players do happen but Mass Player killer on purpose is a different story.

Example: Last fight, when you run out and stand on the pads. They would spawn their add, then kite it to the nearest group (ours) and let the dullahan cleave our entire group.

On the fire bomb pull before King Behemonth, they ran out into the fire and danced until they died just because.

On atomos they ran into the fight started it, pretending to be ready, then would run out as a group of 8 and watch the raid wipe.

Guys relax! Yoshida foresaw this which is why they didn't work on FC-only cue. Things are working as intended


..but on a serious note: If the server reads your language settings and will only allow those with specified language upon entry, why can't it also pick from your other information such as FC (or based off a number setting ranging 1~99) lettering. Food for thought.

Not defending the trolling but I honestly think they were RPing CT! Ya that sounds like something Balmung people would do! Yep yep!

if i could understand a lick of japanese other than yes and thank you, i would move to one of the japanese servers.

One time, we had a healer who just kept complaining how boring the raid was and absolutely did nothing the entire run. It was until we got to the last boss that he admitted that he was tabbed out watching you tube videos 90% of the time.

Had an issue with some people like that in my last run, they were screaming for their baddy pld to mt when I had called it, I assumed they were being racist towards wars. I mt'd anyway, with the pld just standing there right on top of me pretending he was I guess. The guy was in full i90 and wouldn't even move to help with adds after the first boss died the first and second times.

Its really rather annoying.

I just hate the lame kind of trolling in the Atomos fight.
Where people leave the plattform on purpose when they see a group perform a LB...
Whats the point in doing that?

So...why necro a topic that was made because of no ote kick function...while now we have it and can simply vote kick the trolls?
