To all the people saying WHMs suck in PvP

You've either partied up with very bad WHMS, or haven't fought against a good one.
WHMs are extremely tanky if they take advantage of the LoS. I've fought against WHMs that can literally tank all other 3 members focusing it, manage to heal their group, repose, raise any KO'd group members. I've fought 10 minute battles because they had an extremely good WHM.

So WHMs dont suck, people suck. L2P

Whats LoS?

Line of Sight, run make a tight turn around a corner and cast cure 2 = full health

@OP. I agree WHM can be good. I prefer PVPing on my SCH who has less gear than my WHM, though.

SCH is probably easier. But easier doesn't always mean better. A SCH who gets the fairy slept/killed is pretty garbage

I've run a few matches with a WHM friend of mine who was simply baller at staying alive.

I think people get good/bad luck with particular healers without realizing that pvp is still new, so you are going to get a lot of people who are still figuring out how to handle their jobs in that kind of environment.

I've seen both amazing whms and schs and terrible whms and schs. I would actually say they might be fairly even.

whm's are op .. a good whm can survive 3 ppl focus while ressing teammates quite easily.

raise should really be nerfed to like 1 per fight or something

Both SCH and WHM can be amazing. I've already seen so many posts where people say WHMs are crap in PVP and how SCH > WHM, makes me think people on forum just tried PVP for a few hours and came to forums to cry. I've fought against WHMs that got killed in 5 seconds, and I've fought against WHMs that we couldn't kill, same goes for SCH.

WHM here.... yes WHM can tank the 3 DPS.. but it's sure as hell is not easy my friend. 1 mistake and you're dead.

I play a majority of whm for quick queues.. so is the question is whm stronger than sch? Its no worse off for sure. I think whm can deal a little better with pressure than sch can as they have better cc though whm probably has a higher skillcap. (ie: you have to land the cc for it to work)

Look at it this way, I've played pvp in other games, and this is the only game that has rubbed me off in the wrong way. The moment I saw when SE posted the patch notes regarding to how pvp will function and the part about "Casting will always be interrupted upon direct attacks", I knew right away that pvp is broken. Why? Cause almost all WHM's and BLMs casts are timed casts. And I also know given the nature in all MMO's pvp, healers are 90% of the target. So, WHM got shafted with this. Everyone would be trying to rape the healers and that means all spells would be getting interrupted, popping surecast means nothing, because then you're going to be stunned, silenced, interrupted by abilities that does these things. Until SE change the mechanics to how casting are interrupted, I will not be supporting pvp in this game. What's the point of giving CC abilities to jobs when just simple attacks will still interrupt the casts. Castings should not be interrupted by normal direct attacks, that's what the stuns, silence, interrupt abilities are for. Use them as means to interrupt the casts. Furthermore, make the CC timer more realistic as some that lasts 30 seconds is just retarded. I've never seen CC timer this bad for pvp as most other games have a 5 second cap with deminishing returns. When you take away a caster's sole means of doing their jobs which is by casting, then they are nothing, it's like taking the weapons away from the melee/tanks, then they are nothing without them and unable to function. So why punish the casters?

So, to call WHM horrible or people playing them horrible is just false, when it's the mechanics that's so horribly messed up that favors melee dps and bards greatly, oh and SMNs that have instant casts as well.

When PvP first launch SCH was seemingly better due to sprint+lustrate. WHMs with gear and pvp skills (+ sleep) seem way more menacing now. I prefer WHM > SCH
