Tangible benifits to housing as of now, what are they?

Atleast a few free companies have houses now and I was wondering what precisely they currently offered. I looked through the patch notes but didn't see anything and none of the furniture lists any buffs or anything on it currently (atleast from the crafting menu)

-Do they offer any guild wide buffs by having certain furniture like the Seating Module?

-Are you able to teleport directly to it after you have it unlocked or do you still have to walk to the zone?

-Do the larger sizes carry any additional benefits currently over the small one aside from simply being larger and being able to put more furniture in it.


Basically what I want to know is can I safely do everything with a small that I could do with a large. (right now)

rest xp and fluff is the only thing I can think of.

Right now the benefits of having a house are intangible.

Nobody knows if the future things they talk about -- airship workshop, chocobo stables, etc. -- will be available on all house sizes. Lots of people are asking the question, but we have no answers.

This is the biggest problem I've been trying to point out. SE wants us to spend all the gil in the economy to buy something that has no benefits. Yoshi P this is still just a cosmetic item controlled by the FC leader.

Pretty much this. I just want to know if there is anything planned for the future. If a Medium house will be able to do the same thing as a Large then that all I need to know.

The bigger question is will a small house be able to do the same. If not, then they're wastes of server memory and useless. It's already sad that they only hold 1/3 the furniture of a medium house and 1/4 that of the largest house, but to throw more restrictions on them simply makes them a horrible purchase choice for any free company.

Tangible benefits, none, the gratification of having everyone work together to accomplish a goal of having a beautiful home to hang out in, priceless

I know I am in the same block as you but seriously dude, achieving housing on cerberus is one thing, try it on anything more expensive and then brag to all the players who dont have a house. i appreciate working together, but you need to get off the high horse for a while and stop posting about how great your FC is.

In a way I agree with you, this is personal housing for the FC leader, that the FC donates to. In the end, the FC leaders decide on how it looks, what goes in, and where the design are.

I always knew the FC housing was not going to be big, the prices destroyed it, but it still wasn't something big. Personal housing will be the gil sink, people will be buying their houses and wanting to spend the money on their personal house. But it's still just vanity, no game playing, game helpping benefi.

I thought a while back there was suppose to be buffs you get from housing when it was released.

Where the hell are the DEMO houses?? Where are the EXACT specs for each house - dimensions, floor plans, available features and bonuses (current as well as future ones)??

As crafter I was looking to get Large one as that's only one to get the undeground workshop but now - I can only dream (nightmares)!
