lvl 50 in 2.1 Now what, tips please :)

Hi guys,

so im 50, logged into 2.1 and was completely overwhelmed with the new and old content :))

Now i would like some guidance on what should be my next project. I love pvp, i love pve, i love speed runs and love 8 man raids.

As i understand now:
step 1. you get ilvl 50+
step 2. you get your relic
step 3. you start doing dailies?
step 4. where do the new hard mode and new dungeon fall in place?
step 5. im now 50 smn / 50 blm with full DL gear and my relic +1 on smn and relic on blm, is crafting i.e. weaver useful for me? As im not much of a crafter, and whats the best way to spend my limited time now.

Now i just stand around paniccing on what to do, what to attune etc.

Call me crazy but im the first to complain:

This game has too much content!!!!!!! :)

I think it's a draw

I have 8 relics, all but one class at 50 already and I still am a bit flummoxed by all their is to do.

Most important thing: Coil and cap myth as soon as you can. That's the quickest way to the best gear in the game at the moment. The more gear you have, the easier the rest of the game is.

Grind myth, do dailies, try out of HM/ExM, Ultima, beast tribe quests, do pre-quest for CT, have a go at CT, PvP if you're bored, rinse & repeat ;) But most of all grind Myth and try to get to coil so you can gear yourself out in good gear!

If you think 2.1 is a monster wait till 2.2. 2.2 seems to be a mega monster compared to 2.1

2.2

1) Housing update ( I hope Chocobo Raising!)
2) PvP Update ( Frontlines I am hoping!)
3) Leviathan ( Hard and Extreme)/ Moogle ( Hard Mode, Maybe Extreme :P)
4) Coil Turns 6-10?
5) Probably more Mor Dhona Remodeling ( Since they are still in construction),---- 1.5 times more story than 2.1
6) 2 Hard Mode Dungeons 1 New Dungeon ( Probably a hard mode of PS)
7) More Beast Tribe Quests ( and probably additional Beast Tribe or 2)

Probably more I can't think of or new things they haven't told us yet. However, if you are a new player come 2.2 you will have PLENTY to do I can assure you. In fact I will 100% recommend this game to anyone at 2.2.

Instead of trying PvP just take a nap for a few hours. Film yourself sleeping then watch it and it's basically the same as PvPing in this game. Only you'll be getting actual rest, which is good for the body.

haha glad i found this post, cuz i was kinda overwhelmed as soon as i hit 50 right before the patch now im really overwhelmed and have been confused on exactly what my next step is in game. :)

Well we should be getting major updates every 2.5 months.

2.1 major update was a month late because of the issues we were facing during the first month of the game's release.

I loving this game more and more. The way Yoshi&Team and introducing this amazing "?character?" through Hildibrand quest line. Gotta love it.
