Missing gil after the 2.1 update

My FC seems to be missing around 1 million gil from the FC chest. I asked other members and one told me that they are missing gil as well and another member has told me that other people have also mentioned having some of their gil missing. Is anybody else missing gil? Only very few members had access to withdraw gil and I seriously doubt any of them stole it.

Yoshi-P stole it to buy land.... cause he can't afford a 625m gil house either!

Well, you did say a few members had access to it.. Would hate to think that someone you thought was a friend stole from you, but it's probably the most likely case. I haven't heard of anyone else missing FC gil. Good luck figuring it out. :\ /comfort

Of course I do hope no one took it. D: If something did get messed up after 2.1 I hope SE looks into it and fixes it.

Well yeah, I have my suspicion, but after other members who didn't even have access to the gil told me that some people in their other Linkshells mentioned missing gil, I'm wondering if the same happened to our FC chest. A member in my FC is missing 500k as well.

Just report it opening a support ticket, pray someone investigate the issue indepth and find out the thief.

Sounds like someone swiped it before the withdrawal history was implemented.

That sucks man! Really hope no one has stolen it but it looks like the most obvious outcome.

An FC member placed a ticket and got in contact with a GM. Apparently the stolen gil was an error on SE's end and we're getting it back via moogle mail according to him.

One of my members lost several hundred million. It wasn't an error, and they wont be giving it back in an attempt to balance the economy.

they give it back by trying to resell it under a fake alias spamming for $9.99 / 10 million gil

That isn't YOUR chest, it's community. Not everyone in the world is honest and considerate of others. if I remember right you can see the add/withdrawl log for the company chest on lodestone. I think I remember seeing it anyway. Try looking for that, you may find your theif.

You didn't read the rest of the thread did you? You know the part where SE admitted there was an error and were going to correct it (it was only 6 posts later)? Helps to read the whole story before creating a judgment... but meh, whatever makes you happy.
