On my server this morning there was 0 party finders up. Maybe it just my server but damn it would be so much more easy using party finder then shouting.
Also they should make it so we can duty find and party find.

Most people probably don't even know it exists.
It's a very nifty feature that I hope people start to use.
I tested it out and I was the only one on coeurl using it. I even received a tell after I had it up telling me I should just queue duty find as it's faster. But here we still see in mor dhona people spamming shout with WP speed runs!, where using the Party find with the gear level set to their liking would suffice.
It's just like 1.0, where nobody used it there either.
People do what's familiar, even if it's slower. And some people may not even know it exists yet.
Or it could simply be people are at work/school?
I totally forgot this was added until i saw this thread, but now after reading, I'm afraid to use it, if its not being used by anyone O_O
Sad to say but this:
The party finder feature isn't actually a new system but a retooling of one we had before and just reintroduced into the game. This isn't to say it'll never be used but if history serves as an example it will be a small minority of people using this as opposed to /shouts, /fc, /ls, and the Duty Finder as people are doing now.
Its one of those chicken and the egg things. Nobody uses it, so its useless. But its useless, because nobody uses it. People have to be aware of the system and support the system for it to work. It would be really awesome if people did, though. I'll admit, its habit to resort to shouts or completely forget it exists. It kind of does need an "awareness campaign". XD
I had to remind my pt leader it existed. Then we found a dragoon for our coil party in 20 seconds.
Keep in mind that while you may not see anyone putting themselves up, that doesn't mean there isn't a group of people (however few) who occasionally check it while shouting/whatever. If people are persistent with using it, hopefully it'll snowball. People seem to like to jab the game with the whole having to sit in one place and spam /shout to do certain content, so you'd think being able to list yourself and then do other stuff while waiting (like with the DF queue that's obviously popular up to a point) would be an easy sell, people just have to be persistent at the start.
Can SE disable duty finder for a week so we're forced to use the party finder?
I can only hope that people start using this over the duty finder so that the duty finder becomes a ghost town and they stop trying to jam the horrible duty finder system down our throats.
im here using it in Masamune and most i see only Japanese use it the most.
also yea im using it.
What I do is I'll throw up party finder, then shout including "Please join via party finder" or something in the shout.
It's nice because it makes it so you don't have to include a bunch of info in the shout. All the info they need is in the PT finder.
People just need to be made aware of it, then it'll catch on.
I think this may be the case. People are pretty much busy doing unlocks/ roulette/ hm dungeons/ ct / new primals they just missed it. I still see people shouting in revenants for speed runs for a while when you could just throw it on the party finder and wouldn't have to rely on people being in mor dhona
While I was home on my lunch break 2 people in my FC were shouting for Hydra. I told them they should try Party Finder. They didn't even know about it. But they used it and in 10 minutes had a full group ready.
So it works if people use it.
Also found that party finder is very under-utilized. It has lots of great options that allow you to specify just what kind of party you want, and even its exact composition, while leaving you free to do solo tasks around the game world. It would be a shame to see it go to waste
The few I've seen using requires gear ridiculously high like level 75 average for T1.
No one is going to use a party finder after a playerbase is already used to an easier to use 1 button queue system. DF should have been added now, and Party finder should have been out at release. This would have given everyone 4 months to learn names on their servers and make friends, and created an overall better community. Step backwards.
It would be a start if people mention it in the shouts
like "/shout Looking for members coil t4. Use party finder to join"
Party finder is good for everything you can not just click on duty finder, like creating a own party, Fate party, Coil run and more. In short for everything that people /shout currently.
But shouts are zone limited, while party finder is server wide.
I have seen a ton of Party Finder's for hydra and chimera. And like Eekiki said I have seen shouts like that a few times. Also saw some fate groups forming in dragonhead using party finder. I think its catching on, give it a week or two.
DF has access to more people thats why no one is using the PF
unless it not in DF you wont see much of anything.
I think if you're using party finder to make a group, you can't add people who /shout you? When I tried to do this I got an error...
Keep in mind most people never read forums or patch notes. With people combining shout with party finder I think it'll catch on as more people become aware of it. Though yeah the gear lvl's are rediculous. Saw one for the new hard mode dungeons with ilvl80 minimum. What?! Or Ilvl 75 when as a whm, even with +1 relic and FULL Dark-Light armor + full DL accessories I only come up to 72.
