A Relic Reborn (Artemis Bow) quest breaking bug

Steps:
1. Proceed to talk to Fafalori to continue relic reborn quest, red icon appears on character even though quest is telling me this is my next location.

2. Unequip Unfinished Artemis Bow, talk to NPC, I am told I need to equip the unfinished bow.

3. Re-equip bow, I get a message that says "The following conditions have not been met:" And then a blank message.

4. I changed jobs, and changed back, no change

5. I logged off and back in, no change.

6. I went back to talk to the quest initiator Gerold, and he gives the exact same message.

7. I check the quest log, the last step tells me I have slayed the 24 beastmen, and that I need to talk to Gerold, but this step was completed prior to patch 2.1.

Did amdapor keep 3 times no item for the relic quest.

This literally just happened to my wife. Right now. Same exact issue to a T as the original poster stated. Submitted a GM request.

Is there any fix? Or better yet, WAS your issue fixed?

Seems every single step of the Artemis Bow is broken, I left the quest on the last step to get the oil for Geralt before 2.1 launched, and now that it has, it won't let me turn in the Oil and get the bow, when I try to finish the quest it just tells me "I can't because of:" with nothing after the colon but a blank message.

This has been happening to me too on another link of the quest. I have done Ifrit HM twice now but I'm not getting the item I'm supposed to get and my quest log doesn't update itself

Beat Garuda Hard Mode twice after 2.1 and no item for my bow. Hope this is fixed soon.

I have a slightly different problem, but also related.
Can't get relic weapon. Please give us a better weapon... Dps rate so low right now.

the group I was with was able to defeat Titan not to long ago and I did not get the hyperfused ore. Although I was dead at the bottom when he died I returned back up top, I passed on the weapon that dropped (Lance) and then exited the completed duty. I look to see where I need to go and the quest did not update, checked the key items and no ore. So I then logged out and logged back in and still nothing. I reported the bug in game and I hope this will be resolved.

I really don't want to go through it again so please, fix this so I can get my relic bow :)

Same problem as the OP, but I even finished the fight with Hydra with my group with the Unfinished Artemis Bow equipped, only to still not receive credit for it. Cannot progress with the quest line at all. I have a screenshot that shows the text box where Hydra was defeated but no credit on the quest. I submitted an in game bug report right after.

Yeah this happening to me on the last stage of it as well.

im having same problem, killed hydra and cant get credit for it, and npc icon is red locked out.

I got stuck right at the end as well. I had handed the three rewards for the hard mode bosses to Gerolt before the 2.1 update, but didn't get the quenching oil until after the 2.1 update. Tried to speak to Gerolt again, it Gave me the same line some of you had about needing to meet conditions but not listing any conditions when I tried to complete, npc was locked out with a red symbol. Like an idiot I've now abandoned the quest because I thought it was an issue with what I had done and now can't initiate it again either.

I did everything up to the Chimera part of the quest... Defeated Chimera twice as a Bard, no credit. Someone else had to flag the fight in my party. Every time I went to try and start the fight I got a message that said "You cannot complete this quest until the following objectives are met" and it wouldn't say anything else in the message... I went back to the blacksmith NPC, didn't get anything so after 2 days of trying everything and asking around I decided to start the quest over. I abandoned the quest to start from the beginning... The quest dissapeared. The NPC that you get the quest from will not even give it to me. All of this happened after the 2.1 Patch :(

Please fix this so I can get my relic bow.

1. (After patch 2.1) Could not fight Chimera unless other party member flagged quest
2. Spoke to NPC - Negative results
3. Defeated Chimera w/ party twice. Salts were not obtained
4. Abandoned quest to restart
5. NPC at Vesper Bay will not show quest - Dissapeared
6. Emailed Square Enix in reguards to bug

I did this exact same thing. Have yet to hear from GM's and now maintenance.

This was fixed with the patch last night! Go and get your relics, everyone! :)
