PvP in general.

SO inbalanced, holy christ. And I don't mean inbalanced in that one class is better than the other and vice versa. Each class has something that can be abused and spammed to hell and back, not to mention it's currently impossible to do anything as a caster if you have a single melee dps on you.

All my complaints are with playing a Black Mage, since that's my only high level. I know sleep is retardedly overpowered. But that's only if you're playing against a premade team that doesn't give a damn about fun. Otherwise, it's literally impossible for any casters to take action other than instant casts with a melee on them. So what I've been seeing a lot of is teams with archers, dragoons, and warriors/paladins and they just take on all the casters seperately with 2 on the healer.

Anyway, I'd like to know what other classes have got screwed. Comment below!

I have not won a match yet, and hell I've hardly got to play a match, I basically can medica II and regen as we enter, and then maybe bind someone, even a swift cast sleep doesn't seem to be fast enough and I can cast any heals.... I understand that we should be able to be interupted, but with stuns and silences that's how you interupt... the way I can't even use the pillars or walls to los a sword I'm just screwed.

SE should remove Sprint or has longer recast time.

Seriously, lay off sprint. That is the least of the problems with the PVP system. It's the only thing giving casters a chance of getting a single cast off when they have a renegade tank following them keeping them stunned the entire match. This entire PVP system is broken. I don't know how anyone could disagree, unless theyre abusing some aspect of the system. I've been looking forward to this PVP launch since I started playing, and I could not possibly be more disappointed. I hope theyre working overtime at square-enix trying to fix this disaster.

You have plenty of options between you and your teammates.

Heavy still negates sprint. Sprint isn't a problem at all.
Stun from Shoulder Tackle. Re-stun with Steel Peak.
There are plenty of options for dealing with sprint too. No point complaining about the parts of PvP that ARE fine, you just have to use your brain.

Cant believe people are saying sprint isnt broken.. you cant even cast a stun on someone when they sprint and when you do they are still running.. even though you stunned them. Also I noticed my drg ability Feint (slows person for 20%) dosnt even do anything. If you are melee and they are sprint youre basically useless.

that ability slows the action speed not the movement of their character.....Learn your job

Night wing, Equinamity, Surecast, Lathargy, Raging swiftcast Flare, I rock two BLM's and we go 50+ wins without losing, communication and playerskill is the most important after having a couple of pvp abilitys. Its really not imbalanced if your good you can avoid shit by line of sighting and if Casters are good they can bind/slow and run away hell even surecast sleep. Thats why you have teammates to help you if your getting attacked to frequently.

@alexia: haha FACEPALM. if oyu use shoulder tackle and peak, you wont ever get cc, since all next spells wont do anything due to diminishing return of abilities....
your suggested combo stuns them for 4s! wow, sprint goes for 20s with 30s cd, while your combo got 40s cd. seems poor comparence. (30s sleep, SMN ,sprint and diminishing return on slows is what breaks pvp atm. The way it is just sucks donkeyballs.

I play a bard and won about 53 games out of like 71.....I do admit that mages/healers need something changed....Ide recommend maybe a 50% chance to interupt casters....any more then that and a healer might be inpossible to kill

I play bard, I haven't tested pvp yet but I think only crit hit should 100% interrupt cast and we should use Silence and stun..
Maybe increase all silence effect to 2s.

The price for PVP gear is like the one we saw on AION....crazy price! No reason because PVP is not the core of the game..
We all hope in changes which can make PVP the fun part after 20 h per day of PVE.

Give healers the ability to cast, and watch people complain that healers are impossible to kill, summoners already do high damage without needing to cast, and blm is ok to bad with average skill, but good blms are deadly. The only thing somewhat out of place is the innitial sleep time, and that could be nullified with gear and materia once people get to rank 30. Myself I don't even care much anymore for those sleeper comps, since i manage to beat most of them.
