Summertime holiday event speculation.

I wonder what kind of summertime events there will be...
I for one, would like to see some kind of wet and wild event. Miqo'te in bikinis would be awesome.

I enjoyed the summer festival and events in FFXI! Fireworks, yukatas (always wore when crafting or hanging out in town), and goldfish scooping for items to make fish tanks for your MogHouse. I even liked the music they played during the evening fireworks display in the cites. Later I think they added more minigames and events like an ingame pop star you had to help.

Although I'm a bit disappointed that the yukata didn't make a comeback here and although the bikinis are sexy looking, they seem rather ordinary vs exotic.

This will be my first holiday event in FFXIV so I am excited to see what all they do ^_^ How were the previous holiday events here? Were they fun?

Only easter and kinda Christmas, love the music and snow in cities, was small but nice and festive. Easter was our first event that had depth to it and no bells^^ Hehe I thought the hats were adorable and the event wasn't too hard/too easy and didn't take away from other things in the game :) Personally not a fan when special event's have huge time sinks^^ But always nice when you can still get in the spirit easy! Hoping Summer event will be nicely balanced as well :)

its named "Ifrits reigen" which roughly translates to "Ifrits round dance"

EDIT: in japan its called the "Crimson Festival"
