Armor and Dyes

So I was poking about the new gear on the Lodestone when I noticed the PvP gear is dyable To be honest that was the last thing I expected seeing as almost nothing else that isn't crafted isn't able to be dyed.

So why don't we get to dye other armors if we can the PvP sets? =/

I'm glad we got new dyes this patch.. here I was wondering what to test them on cause none of my level 50 gear is able to be dyed. xP

I think the PvP gear can be dyed so that if you have a solid team you run with, you can all dye your gear the same color like it was in the trailer video. Which is kinda cool I think.

I really like the Acolyte set. I'd dye that shiz out of that and wear it as vanity whenever vanity slots come available...if only. :(

I've been wanting a full White Acolyte set the second I saw it on the NPC in mordhona... now... IT SHALL BE MINE!!!

well in patch 2.2 dl armor will be dyeable

well DL armor is a start at the least. I was thinking for the remade manor and caopperbell they were gonna re-release the sets just in new colors instead of the gear that those two places drop >_<

maybe someday you can have your white robes though =/ there is a ton of armor that I thought was epic looking in this game but I never thought more on it after I found that it wasn't dyeable and the odds of making something good looking from it without using the full or most of the set made me not care in collecting it all.

Darklight will be also be available for dyes in patch 2.2. Also, the release of 'vanity' gear equipment.

Somebody posted this summary of the patch note reading on reddit. Dyeing DL is the first thing mentioned. :D

well lets hope they expand the list past DL someday ^^; love the new (assuming crystal tower) armors with the armor of light and onion knight sets but i'm saddened they are stuck at their default colors. Though then we'll get people coming in here that they should not be allowed to be dyed due to lore and what not >_> (though if this were the case why does the AF set have a recoloring for the AF2 set)
