Durandal - 625M plot + 900M(up to) house upon server restart

Upon server restart, following patch 2.1, my FC "Quebec-France" will be game-first to pwn the largest plot of land and biggest house on Durandal in the aristocraci-est neighborhood evar.

Come and visit !! create an account and PM me in-game, but seriously don't touch anything, and avoid eye contact, no pictures and most important... don't ask :D I wont tell... ;)

Don't forget to put up a video on youtube after decorating. That's the only way I'll ever "experience" FC housing during the next few months.

Maybe I'm just slightly paranoid, but with the sayings going around about how this is/can be an elaborate RMT trap, you think it's wise to buy the biggest plot of land and house the first day?

Server first sucker paying maximum price for a house is all this means.

Sounds like your FC will be "game-first" to get banned by SE because I wouldn't be surprised if they carpet-ban every FC who buys the most expensive land immediately after the patch. SE doesn't really have that good of a track record when it comes to dealing with RMT so they'll probably just ban everyone for good measure, whether an fc is innocent or not.

I want to visit it and please put some pics for us to compare the difference between the best of the best and others. XD

The idea, that all this is SEs trap to catch RMTs and that they will permaban whole FCs who buy large lands during first week (or whatever time period you think) without investigation is just ... wrong. SE are idiots, but not that much. I hope.

They obviously won't outright ban, but surely they will closely scrutinize any FC that is able to afford a large plot of land. Check out their individual monetary history, etc.

And then when they find someone that mysteriously received 5,000,000 gil in the mail from a certain Agfsdg Dsafhj, goodbye plot of land.

Well, guess that blow the whole "Prices are to damn high" crowed out of the water..

625mil + 900mil = 15.2 BILLION gil in 1.0 'money'.

People who played 1.0 will know how insane something costing 15.2B gil is.

to buy the 2nd plot and 3rd plot wouldn't be a problem, at 625M each,

the problem would be from having 2 more biggest houses on them,

we would be short of about 240 millions, taking in consideration the biggest house would cost a maximum of 600 millions each,

and about where the money came from ... already mentioned and besides

a lady never tells :/



*note* : anyone got a spare 250 mil ? we are taking new wealthy and at the limit "rich" FC applicants :D

Where does it say that a house is going to cost 900,000,000 gil? From what they said in earlier Live letters, the houses are going to be reasonably priced... Costing waaaaay less than the plots that are built on.. trollolololol

Who knows how long it will take to obtain rank 6? People sure are jumping the gun.

Considering SE doesn't take action against botters, I'm not surprised by the amount of gil obtained by them collectively (which isn't likely to be via mysterious mail contents of X,XXX,XXX gil). And by the way, not only are RMT botting - so are legitimate players that get away with it. Personally, I am not affected by housing, so congratulations if you guys are the first FC to obtain it :)

CONGRAT. And LOL to all those comment about they will get ban. Comon let's face it, RMT isn't the only way to make gil in this game. And don't you think they have way to at least track the gil transaction/transfer between character? If SE is blind banning everyone sitting on tons of gil, then the fact is there won't be RMT seller at all because they will all get banned already.

Isn't that clear that there are tons of FC out there sitting on million even 10 of millions FC point? Unless they reset it to 0 or something (which will not happen at all), then most of those FC will instant Ding lvl 6.
