Why cant i post on other forums?

Amazed i could post anything here at all.
Have been trying to post elsewhere but says my character age is to low or ive reached my post limit?

Anyone mind explaining the rules here, i found no information regarding this in the FAQ or forums RULES.

I understand why they did what they did, but I'll admit I'm a little annoyed by it.

I had multiple level 50 classes on my 1.0 account and then had to take a substantial break from the game for financial reasons. If I had been able to carry over some of that, even if it had to be adjusted to accommodate the new game, then I would be able to participate in the forums. I would also be able to craft and gather, which was what I enjoyed in 1.0. Since I came back last night, I can't do either. I know, it doesn't take long to get to level 10 to be able to do what I want to do, but losing my old character, my posting priviledges and not being able to play for 24 hours is a quite a bit of annoying all at one time.

Wait, wha? This is off topic, but... Celestial? All 1.0 character data got transferred over. You should absolutely be able to use your 1.0 character, as long as you are using the same account. The only issue is that, since you didn't take advantage of the free transfer, your character will be on the same JP server you were on in 1.0. My 1.0 character is sitting pretty in Hyperion.

I am not sure if this is still an issue (it was in beta), but I had to log into my Legacy character at least once before being able to post with it.
Something changed where I had to repick my class (I started as a crafter, which is no longer possible) and re-confirm her to use.

I'll have to call SE and see if they can revive her. I would much rather be able to pick up (roughly) where I left off than have to start completely anew. Thanks!

I do need to warn you though... while SE is one of the most active and user-friendly companies I have seen in my life, their Customer Support is among the worst. Good luck.


I would like to take a moment to advise you AGAINST this though.
It is a new game, and deserves a fresh character. The moment 2.0 was released, I deleted my 1.0 character.
Not to mention, the economies in 1.0 servers are TERRIBLE. Extremely inflated. And 1.0 characters can NOT go to non-1.0 servers.

Ugh, well that is annoying. Especially as a gatherer/crafter, I need the economy to be decent.

Same thing here this is the only area I can post or reply to anything, I can not find update info on the patch or where people are talking on the forums about the new 2.1 I thought it would be in general but the forums look dead.

Community-> general discussion is pretty active. Although it's mostly people complaining about housing prices.
