They don't seem to have described the new Moggle-Egi SMN pet anywhere.
Oh well, guess we'll just have to wait until tomorrow and see it first-hand.
...right?

Serious? If yes, King Moggle Mog is not a primal, and so, it wont be summonable. And even if it qualified, new egis will only come once the level cap is raised.
Don't you need first a level cap raise to get the next jobquests?
The said SMN will not get any new Egi's until expansion.
They didn't mention the new Goobbue Barding either!
They didn't mention 'muh' Ninja, Musketeer, Red Mage, Half Life 3 and Hoenn remakes either!
Better Egi models first.
I thought that was the whole theme of the Summoner questline. "To gain ultimate kupo power" as stated in the the level 50 summoner quests. And the title of the level 35 summoner quest, "Who's Kupoing Who?" The very infrastructure of every summoner that has ever been in a Final Fantasy was their bond to moogles. Just odd we don't see an SMN mog pet for this patch. Last I checked, wasn't patch 2.1 titled "A Realm A-Kupoing"?
I did not see the full Carbuncle and Tonberry furniture sets in the notes or the updated Lodestone Armory. :(
I swore they once mentioned he was an elder primal, and therefore unsummonable.
You can only see the mog egi if you zoom your camera ALL the way out.
Good King Moggle Mog XII is not a primal! This has been stated countless times by both players and the CMs.
There is also much debate over whether Elder Primals are really primals since they don't return to the aether once defeated (they retain their physical body).
Regardless, the King is not a primal.
This is a very good point. We might get a Carbuncle-Egi first. Or a Tonberry summon! I, for one was disappointed that the Moogle Rug wasn't crafted from fresh Moogleskin.
Yeah! Perhaps they'll do it one level at a time... Each with a new Egi! After all, we have three to fit in before 2.2 right?
ACTUALLY, It's Possibly A Primal.
