Change Myth Payouts (for AK). We dont want to spend 15 runs/hours each week to cap.

It was a nice idea, but like always, no one actually thought about this one even slightly.

Sure, raising the cap to 450 was interesting. But you simply cant also reduce the Myth payout as well.

After 2.1 this will mean that we have to spend 15 Hours worth of dungeons each week just to cap out on points. I dont know about the rest of you, but i'm not prepared to waste away all the time of every weekend i have just doing Dungeons and nothing else.

So here's a suggestion.

Change AK's payout from the "new" 30 Myth Tomes to 60 Myth tomes.
We're back to 7-8 runs to cap then (just like before), nothing like the completely rediculous 15 runs we have now.

You can leave WP as it is because the dungeon is rediculously simply and doesnt deserve such a generous payout as it already has anyhow.

there is also hard mode copperbell, Haukke. the new one Pharos Sirius and also Crystal Tower. Oh and EX Primals. Myth tomes everywhere

Your math is kind of strange.
With 2.1 they will decrease the amount of monster in Ak, that means you can do it faster (like WP).
Thats with a fast group ~15min/run, which means you need less then 4hours/week
With a bad group you need maybe 30min, so 8h/week.
+ if you do Coil 1-4 thats 150points.
+ you'll get points with dailys/random duty finder and much more....
+ nobody knows how much points you'll get in the new dungeons.

I dunno why they lowered AK's myth reward?? Nobody does it anyway? Even more reason not to now?

the map is much larger in AK than in WP. Even if they lowered the mob numbers, sheer running will take longer. I doubt it can take as fast as WP.

I dont like running WP, it's a complete joke. I love doing AK on the other hand. Has a decent amount of difficulty that you can enjoy, isnt so rushed, no stress fighting. Pointless changes like this just get under my skin.

The monsters they removed probably come down to just being the monsters everyone always skips anyhow. (Two dullahan patrolling at the start, Hippo's everywhere, group of monsters and a coin chest after the first Teleport, The two Brontotaur groups before the Demon Wall, etc...)

Only reason for SE to remove monsters is to aleviate server stress. You breeze through anyhow. No reason to nerf the dungeon.

You forgot about the df roulette rewards and tribes quests.

DF Roulette reward is 100 Philo (ok...) and 10 Myth (not worth it) once per day. Which a large possibility you get thrown into a dungeon that does not have any native Myth Reward anyhow. Making you basicly have to do a whole dungeon for 10 myths.

Still, that is still besides the point. We dont want to have to do more dungeons for the same reward.

Question is, who runs AK anymore? Sure WP is quick and boring, but you're doing it to farm Tomes not enjoy content you've already dont 150 times >.>. The fact you are fighting against the grain here is contradicting your argument for an increase.

Lawl, I enjoy WP too. AK is just a nuisance, especially with pugs.

I enjoy AK over WP.

I just ran AK through Roulette last night. They say that they lowered the amount of mobs, but the amount they actually took out does not justify the -10 Myths for this run.

Its needs to be back at 40, 60 is way to much for such an easy run..

Just to put it into perspective:

You get 7 Myth for Garuda HM.. but 6 or 9 low class mobs being pulled from AK is equal to 10 myths being taken away? This makes no sense.

they made bosses weaker as well

and duty rulette reward for hard is 40 myth/day

Ummm, no. The reward for Roulette is 40 Myth, plus the built in Myth reward for the dungeon you just did. I got 70 Myth from one run of AK through Roulette last night. That's pretty awesome imo.

I'm not counting roulette at all.

I'm talking about the fact that AK only pays out 30 if you do a NORMAL RUN.
(its not like you can keep running roulette-high over and over right away)

And I honestly didn't feel any difference in the bosses other than the fact that Demon Walls rotations was slightly (just slightly) slower.
