They need more 6 month to make a decision about jumping
Every 2 and half weeks. It's not late.
Ok this is what I see right now:
WE WANT NEW CONTENT AS THE OLD CONTENT IS BUGGY BROKEN AND RUSHED, SO PLEASE HURRY AND RUSH OUT THE NEW CONTENT EVEN IF IT IS BUGGY AND BROKEN AND RUSHED!
Anyone else want to play i-spy-Irony?
They are building a combat video.. :D
I want to see new systems/features before new contents
don't want to play those new contents with the current broken system mechanics
The next letter will be about calming people down after they are outraged by the lack of/quality of content in the next patch.
He'll probably promise things that will keep people waiting for the next patch but tiptoe around any dates since they're already in trouble trying to get all the stuff done that was mentioned in the last letter.
Smart money says he'll go "into detail" about the materia system but in a typical N.Y.-way which will leave everyone on forums speculating what he was trying to say.
Personally I'm done with letters and would rather just wait for updates to the game rather than promises that seem to take forever to follow through.
Aren't the letters usually around the middle of the month? I would have guessed next week for the letter.
They are being unusually silent these past few days.
He'll talk about how difficult it is to implement horsebirds at the current stage of development.
That it's already to late for them to be introduced because they would completely destroy the game balance.
I heard some rumor about FFVII Remake official announcement in E3
Oh boy, here come the cynics.
He got the job cause he is good at PR, he got many of you to carry on playing when you are all so disgruntled and you all love him so much...even though he has done very little really.
As was said he will keep it for after the patch to give you stuff to look forward to and divert attention from the rage.
I don't care. It's the truth.
No doubt about it.
I wonder if they have any plans for E3, or will they hide o.o
From Yoshi's letter # 1:
I don't see the word "weekly" in here. In fact, given that the forums are running, why is anyone expecting a regular schedule?Quote:
This post marks the beginning of my new Letters from the Producer series, which I will continue to post regularly on the Lodestone up until the launch of our official FINAL FANTASY XIV forums.
Did I miss the post where it was promised on a particular date?
Letter from the Producer XI? They will look into it.
They are going to implement it. lol
Expect it by the end of this week, if not, Monday.
You know, I wouldn't be surprised if he tell what's going to contain in 1.18 in detail in his next letter assuming it comes out this week ( due to it be th 2.5 week mark), and next week ( which is Mid-June) is when (most likely) the patch will be released.
Bet the patch gets delayed.
We'll see, I hope it doesn't D; I'm tired of killing the only content this game has to offer, over and over again ;\
If they delay this patch in any way, which includes BS technicalities like "June 24" being classified as "mid-June" simply because it's not June 30... Then there is going be to some serious repercussions to say the least. A lot of players have a lot of faith riding on the hope this 1.18 patch brings, don't screw with us.
I'm sure they are very scared of losing all the freeloaders.Quote:

Freeloaders? Aren't we all freeloaders by your analogy? After all, none of us are paying for this game. However, us "freeloaders" are people who have stuck with this game for a long time, and will become long-term paying customers if SE can deliver on their promises.
