Kupo FC is looking to absorb smaller FCs

The Kupo FC would like to offer some smaller FCs a chance to merge with Kupo mainly for housing purposes. Kupo is sitting on a fairly substantial nest-egg and can make a move for one of the cheaper large plots, the issue being we want prime real-estate. If your FC is looking to get in on housing but lack the funds we would welcome a merger, provided you are willing to help donate into the housing fund, lets help each other out.

Hell, even if RMT money ISN'T used, I still fully expect SE to seize any Large Plots purchased within the first week. There were hundreds of players who had made a lot of legit money in the first month of the game, and they were all suspended/banned automatically. I expect this same thing to happen with the Large Plots. They'll ban you first, then ask questions later.

My thing is I don't even see a reason to get a large plot. Outside of the prestige of it I guess. The amount of money you have to pay compared to what you get from going to medium to large just doesn't seem worth it. (indoor furnishing is only increased by 50, where as from small to medium it goes up by 100)

Well, considering that ALL of the houses are incredibly tiny (Large is supposed to hold 20 people), then it makes getting the Large house pretty much a necessity. I don't understand how these houses are considered "FC Housing". The size of these FFXIV houses are the sizes of PERSONAL housing in other games. So the only one that even remotely works as a house for an entire FC is the Large one.

Why all of this negative sentiment for a FC that's just offering to smaller FC's (that don't forsee themselves having the gil for housing) to join forces? We haven't intentionally wronged anyone in this community and I don't know what gives people the impression we're going to start doing it now. You guys seem to be the masters of taking things out of context. Nobody said we had 100mil. If we had the money for the house what makes you think we would "use other FC's for gil" to get our housing? If we have what you assume we have we'd buy it on our own. Your assumptions are saying two conflicting things.

And of course, anyone who has any more gil saved up than your FC simply HAS to be buying gil. That's something we can all agree on!

I see a lot being said about Kupo that simply isn't true. Kupo never claimed to have 100+ million gil. We aren't just "stealing gil" from smaller companies. What's wrong with offering a hand to those who would never get to use FC housing at all? It doesn't make sense to steal money if we already had it. And we aren't like that. Everyone wants housing, this is a way for more people to enjoy it. People have really been taking this way out of proportion.

No, it is just we are smart enough to see right through what you all are attempting to do.

Can someone please source this frequently made statement that only 20 can fit in a large house?

Regarding recruitment, Kupo is pretty passive and as far as I know has never /shout recruited. The offer to accept smaller FC's so they may help acquire and enjoy larger housing than they may otherwise have been able to doesn't deserve the disdain being lobbed at it in this thread.

What the hell is wrong with the people in this thread?! You guys are embarrassing yourself by throwing these accusations at Kupo.... Why do you feel you have to come out and say they are trying to take peoples gil when CLEARLY it's stated in the original post: ''We are looking to absorb smaller FCs for the purpose of housing''

How is there ANYTHING misleading in that? Wow... knowing mean, agressively opinionated people play this game is very depressing especially since they cant read and start drama for 0 reason.... Sorry you and your FC have to deal with this Papa!

Yuri apologized to me for his posts in game. He's a stand up guy, congrats to him and his FC for breaking into turn 5. I hope this is all cleared up. More people than not realize that we do all we can to maintain a positive reputation on the server.

To Kupo: I said some very stupid things. I think we all have those days where we open mouth, insert foot, and boy was this one of them for me. Papa is a really great guy, we had a nice long chat. I want to again offer my sincerest apologies in a fiasco that need not have happened. I wish you guys all the best in getting that massive plot of land by the beach, I will even send you a house warming present when its complete. :)
