Dear SE: I can't wear Allagan armor because there's not enough Accuracy.

The caster Allagan set has a total of 65 Accuracy.

Head 15
Body 0
Gloves 0
Belt 0
Legs 24
Boots 15
Choker 0
Earring 0
Wrist 0
Ring 11

This armor set is unusable within Binding Coil, there is not enough accuracy. Why do these items even drop if we have to replace them with Mythology armor?

And now, SE you are removing 15 accuracy from the boots. That is 21% (15/65) of the accuracy from this set. Why have a "set" of armor if it is unusable as a set?

I thought the whole idea of "Progression" was to acquire these drops to help progress in the dungeon? Well they do not help progress because they are unusable because there is not enough accuracy.

Please adjust the stats of these items so they are usable within Binding Coil. Your allotment of stats on armor seems random at best. The change to the Allagan boots was a bad move, this effects two classes: BLM and SMN, you should have just changed the BLM boots so they don't have the same stats.

I wouldn't mind droping some skillspeed for Accuracy on MNK set. As the OP said, the full Allagan set lack ton of Acc.

You realise that you only need 25 more accuracy than that to hit everything in the game?

It's quite clear that the i90 gear has been designed with mix-matching in mind. If that wasn't the case then Allagan would either be item level 100 or have 3 additional stats instead of 2.

Fact remains that the full Allagan set has enough accuracy.

Not to mention that the cap for magic classes is 30-50 points lower than physical.

Allagan scepter + ancient shield(released in 2.1) is +37 acc putting you very close to hit cap, and since scepter is getting it's ilvl bumped up it will put it even closer to hit cap.

Just going to single out this little piece of /headdesk. You aren't forced to wear the whole set and nothing but this set, mix and match, there's multiple pieces of gear per slot in the same tier.

Agree, the boots nerf was pointless and yet another 2.1 letdown.
