Vote-kick only requires a simple majority?

This feature is even worse than anyone expected.

Good luck watching cutscenes or playing on PS3 without four jackasses kicking you out of the dungeon unless you're the tank.

This feature is exactly what I expected.

Enter WP "hey look the nub doesn't have full DL and relic+1 *starts vote kick*

May be they should have put a restriction on the vote kick that the target is unkickable while watching cutscenes.

lol, if it is me I would vote kick whoever said that but that's just me.

They will be punished later for kicking you without one of the listed reasons: AFK, Offline, Harassment or Cheating.
and: * 4 hours must elapse since your last vote dismiss before you can initiate another.

"Look, they are spirit bonding accessories! Kick em!!!"

I like the sound of the vote kick system as in the patch notes. Every system could be abused but in the cetaceans example, it only takes one decent person to say, I won't kick someone over that.

1. This remains to be seen. Right now there's not even a way to report people found on other servers, so how are four people going to be proven to be abusing the function? SE also doesn't even seem to have enough resources to ban obvious RMT who have been repeatedly reported, so where are they going to find the time to investigate this?

2. Only one person has to initiate. The cooldown doesn't mean a lot as long as four people are willing to vote to kick them anyway - one of them probably has the kick available.

Or play with friend and ignore the vote kick ?

Doesn't matter for me, my friend will don't kick me :D

You can report players from other servers. When you file the report on a player from another server you will need to include which dungeon the event occurred in, the name of the player you want to report, the server of the player you want to report, and usually the time period. The server can be found by looking up the player on lodestone, comparing gear, title, jobs, etc. with the player you are trying to report.

It doesn't have to be unanimous, that is why I posted this thread in the first place.

Is cutscene really an issue? Really? How many ppl run CM for tomes and expect speed? You need 4 of 6 voters to kick.

The restrictions are reasonable. Although there are still many ways you can abuse if you're creative.

Many developers/publishers say you can report abuses. In my experience not many actually follow up with any discernible action.
