Dude, I saved three million Gil in hopes I'd have enough to buy a house on the Balmung server, as the preview patch video shows 800k for a house.

Guess who doesnt have 20 million gil for a guild house?

Yoshi even said you may need to save and wait a month or more to get the housing. Remember guys its FC housing not personal housing, the smallest plot in the cheapest server will be 4 million, BUT every 6 hours the cost will go down, so at this point, who knows, it may get down to 2 million or less. There are instanced areas with multiple plots (I believe 90 plots in total per server), but there was mention that if the plots fill up they will release more instanced areas, giving you more plots. Don't freak out guys I'm sure you will get some sort of plot of land no matter where you are.

Note Yoshi also said there will be more ways to make money so don't be disheartened, find ways to make money as an FC and get that house soon! Come up with ideas or ask others in the community for some tips on how to make money.

Gil isn't exactly hard to earn, even from only NPC:S (NPC Sources) sure its not as fast, but honestly greed got the better of most players.

I agree on this one. The fact is.. I believe calling anything a "luxury" in this game is pretty dumb. We pay every month and there should be no reason to make any content damn near impossible to obtain. This may seem lazy to some, but I really don't care. I want to enjoy my game, not dread it.
