Someone in the NA Data Center trip on a cord? People getting kicked off of Balmung left and right.. seems like its happening elsewhere, too.

They are having a crazy rave and someone named bobbert tripped over the plug and they are all trying to figure out how it goes back in.

I got kicked off too on Faerie.

Someone needs to learn their time zones. The good news is they must have a kindergarten hiring level at these data centers since I learned timezones in the first grade.

Hyperion seems to have gone down as well.

Whatever, though, since the maintenance is starting in an hour and a half anyway.

Hmm, I wonder what "server instability" means... Must be a first grader thing.

Over the course of 5 runs of Wanderer's Palace, my linkshell party disconnected 3 or 4 times from about 10:30 pacific time onwards. Interestingly, every time it happened the same 3 out of the 4 of us would be disconnected while the 4th never was.

Region, at least in obvious ways, can be eliminated as the cause, since I and one of the other disconnected are west coast NA, while the 3rd disconnected and the 4th who never disconnected are east coast NA.

The issue is also not limited to instances, since after we gave up on trying to play the disconnect lottery, I continued to disconnect while gathering in the open world.

Hopefully, this is just a symptom of the reason for the current maintenance and will be resolved when the game goes live again.

Darn, I wake up, post on a few threads and next thing I know, the world has ended around me. I'm too tired for this, where's my coffee!

Touche, but I didn't know anything about "server instability" as up until that point I was not having any problems with the game servers and I believe the message about the server going down this morning has been on the launcher for about two to three days. All I know is I went to log back on and all the Japan servers were up but NA/EU was down so I figured someone decided it was time to start maintenance early.
