Too Old To Take Survey

So, I have two accounts and went to fill in the survey on the first one, answered the questions up to and including 'age' then got told my views weren't wanted.

So I went there on my second account and lied about my age, saying I am 28-30 .. and I was acceptable.

So SE don't want to know the views of their older customers. :mad:

I would guess you're in a demographic they don't want to market too.

I'm older then that too, however I don't act my age.

You would think that if they're gonna shut people down based on their age, they'd at least make that the first question you answer >_>

*gasp* I'm almost out of the target demographic! I'm getting old :(

Special Note: That's not me calling anyone else old. I'm a hypocrite when it comes to myself. Only I get old XD

I do find it completely odd that they would not even let you submit the survey. Even if you are not their target demographic at the moment it seems like it would not hurt them at all to have the info and they are completely capable of sorting for what they are looking for.

Given ARR's design, wouldn't it make sense their core fanbase is the least they'd want to hear from? :p

So they are targeting 28-30 then? Well if so I'm in there and think your doing it wrong. Sorry had about enough of lockouts+gear treadmills for endgame MMO's. I might take a break for a few months and check it out later but don't like how things look at the moment.

Edit. Also don't particularly care for how you treat "some" of your customers, who cares how old they are they are paying your bills and thier voice matters. The least you could do is let everyone take the survay and keep what you do with the results to yourself.

I'm "old" (read, retired) ....and I never got shut out of the survey.

Am I the only one who noticed all the people claiming to be "old" in this thread are Lalafells?

My Grandma is 90+, she is small too. Aren't Lala's small... :o:cool:

Haha that is really weird... at least just allow anyone to submit the survey and just ignore responses over a certain age...

Odd. You'd think a company like Squeenix would have access to as much data analysis software as they could possibly want. It's not that difficult to pull out particular subsets of data when looking for trends.

In all honesty I am now 31, filling out those kinds of surveys make me feel older than I act.

I game next to an open window so I can keep an eye out and be ready to yell as needed.
