This makes no sense as it is mention as being on the PS4 when that isn't even out yet.

This game has a lot of love and hate, that is for sure.
If you look on Amazon JP. This game has tons of mixed reviews.

It was nominated here too, but I felt like it is in the wrong category in comparison to single players games lol.
I wouldn't say this is the worst...it's alright. It just needs to grow...again.

To be fair; the PS3 version can't split chat, has virtually zero keyboard support, can't focus-target, has a more difficult time loading character/monster models, can't adjust graphics settings at all, and most important: doesn't have breast-physics. There are more, but I don't want to list all of them that I know of.

Worst game eh? Sub numbers state other wise.

It does not play very well on the PS3. However, the game itself is awesome "personally".

While the PS3 version does have issues I wouldn't class any of them bad enough to warrant it a Worst GOTY title as none of them are serious game-breakers. As for the other games on the list... seriously? No Ride to Hell?

Likely people riding the 4.0 bandwagon of Tanaka era XIV still. As poor as this game is on PS3, it is at least more of a video game than Beyond is, and somehow a more comprehensible story, despite all the magic involved.

Now Girl Fight, jesus christ that game is terrible. Ride to Hell too. But really, the best thing you can do is simply not give them hits, since saying controversial nonsense that stirs the fanbase makes them cash money.

Screw Attack is crap anyway. Seen them in conventions a few times and they're lame as frak.

All those games (including FF14) are pretty good in their own right. This is just a popularity contest.

I've nominated Duke Nukem Forever as the best game ever created in all of universes.

Why complain about it you wont change players minds. They have an old saying if the shoe fits wear it, well in this case maybe it dose. It got on there for a reason like it or not.

I figured I would post this. So I asked a bunch of streamers on twitch.tv awhile ago. Why exactly did they stop playing FF14? Almost 100% of them said, because everyone else did, But all agreed it was an awesome game, and that if everyone didn't leave they would have kept playing the game....

This tells me that this the general public will follow the knife wielding maniac RIGHT off the 10 story roof.

Pay no attention, if you like the game play it! Lists or no lists, Promote the game where you see fit, don't be afraid to say Hey I like that game :) Then maybe the sheep will follow.

Screw Attack is obviously just fishing for hits with controversy with this and I guess so far they're succeeding. None of these games are logical contenders, they're all mediocre at the very worst. Beyond Two Souls is, imo, the weakest game on the list but it still doesn't deserve to be anywhere near a "worst of" list.

Wow, if those are the worst games on the PlayStation then this industry is in better shape then I thought.

Gaming has evolved. Just not how we go about it, we still need 'worst game ever' to be put on the pedestal even if they're all alright.

i feel that the problem is lack of content!! while i understand there can't be 9 years of content that say the likes of wow have had it is whats forcing ppl to move else where…. game needs time and good content and the people will return

It's just ScrewAttack begging for attention, only thing they've had going for them in quite a while is Death Battle, and that's been pretty slow since the Superman/Goku video.

Feels like it was added so that they could get attention. It's working I guess.

Fist of the North Star 2: Ken's Rage, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, Star Trek: The Game, Fast & Furious: Showdown, SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton's Robotic Revenge, all came out in 2013, and none of them are on that list.

Compared to all three games that they have put up for vote (all of which are arguably at least decent games, or at least compared to the ones I just named above), that is completely ridiculous, and nobody should take them seriously because they are clearly not gamers if THOSE games are not "shittier" than the three nominees.

I agree that the PS3 version sux. I been with FFXIV since the open BETA.

In one word to describe my experience using FFXIV ARR on PS3 ( PAINFUL )

It's broken out of the box and no support given to it from SONY or SE.
Not one thing has been done to fix the Character MOB/LOAD priority.

NM FATES at level 50 > As of 10 DECEMBER > still load players CHOCOBOS before any attacking mob. ODIN and Behemoth still can not be seen on screen for more than a flash of a second.

To put it in the WORST game on PS3 is a little harsh but it is the WORST MMO on PS3
And to be paying a monthly fee for a BROKEN game is a CRYING SHAME.

I will wait for the PS4 BETA to confirm if I will stay and continue to support SE with my monthly sub.

supposidly they are working on this issue. who knows maybe it will be fixed in the update on the 17th. would be nice to see since it effects me too and I'm on a PC

I was at the Behemoth FATE 2 days ago for 5 minutes and I never saw him spawn. saw a whole lot of players drop multiple times though

I have played the PS3 version since Beta. I am still playing it via a PS3, yes it has some issues but I love it, I am proud to say I love it. I have waited so long for this game on a console and I have loved it ever since.

I have no complaints, I can tank on PS3, heal on PS3 and DPS on PS3.

This is the best MMO on the PS3 bar none (DCU and Dust 514 are Pay to win, completely dire and unplayable).

I will keep playing it on my PS3 until I purchase a PS4 specifically for the Beta and ready for the PS4 FF14 launch.

I love it.

Yes I am a filthy disgusting casual but I don't care.

I have a high demanding role so when i actually get 2-3 hours to play I will play it on a PS3 and enjoy it profusely (I own a rig good enough to play it but I use it for work only).

It was also recently nominated for best RPG at VGX though it lost to Ni No Kuni. The game also recently won an award at a Japanese event.

what? no breast physics? thats the last straw. lol
can i play my ps3 account on a laptop?
my current one couldnt run the original 14..i was told maybe because i have an integrated graphics card. :(

Should always remember that this is a business and bribery has been obvious since Jeff Gerstmann's incident. Professional game reviews by huge media corporates are hardly worth your time.

Stopped watching Screwattack years ago. After they broke with Handsome Tom and Keith went on his own. There was nothing left. They are just out for clicks.. How Kotaku can say ffxiv is one of the years best games, and they dare to say worst. (yes I know kotaku said pc, and screwattack is saying PS3, but its the same game)
