To +1 or not to +1

With the upcoming patch, ilvl90 weapon will be available from extreme primal. Is it worth upgrading to +1 at this point?

I didn't know you can get lv90 weapons from primals, I thought only rings but whatever.

Back to OP, I think the question is... To Glow or not to Glow.

You will be able to upgrade the +1 in the future, so it is a decent investment of your time. We don't know if the quested weapon would be repeatable, either, since it sounds like it is a reward for defeating all of them, not just one.

edit: Nevermind it seems like you can get a weapon each week.

+1 a weapon you probably wont get from primals.

That way you have a few geared roles.

You are more than likely going to need that +1 to get a weapon from the Extremes. Unless you got about 20mil to buy a Titan EX win, These aren't going to be easy have you seen the video? People think Titan HM is hard now......... LOL


Edit IDK the details on the weapons. But In a way I hope its like Relic where you need to be on the job, And at the same time I hope you can build any weapon on any job.

I'm sorry but the extreme modes terrify me. Titan hard has been giving me fits as it is. I don't even want try extreme.

I'd wait to see what the stats on the weapons are. They can be i90 with stats that are completely useless. Or they can be amazing tier.

Well Titan HM was hard/impossible when I first ran it but after practicing for a while it became easy. I'm thinking the Extreme Primals are the same way. Could it be harder then Twintania prenerf? If not, you can just treat it like a coil raid with voice comm/food buff and run it till you figure out the mechanics.

I think a lot of it depends on the skill level of the groups you're with. Titan Hard is probably going to be considerably easier than the other Extreme Primals.

There's also the itemization between the two items to consider. As a BLM, I'd prefer to have ACC on my weapon so that I can move my gear around a bit differently. The Extreme weapon may or may not give that option and the T5 weapon is currently out of my reach, so it's definitely something I would consider getting if it had ACC.

We don't know if the primal weapon quest is repeatable or not. Other then that they direct drop accessories from their chest.

I would still get the +1 unless you already have one on another class that you can use for extremes. I really won't be that surprised, based on how difficult they look in the videos, if an ilvl90 weapon is a gear check requirement to even participate in those fights.
