Should we have more chests for Coil?

Was thinking about it.. Every turn you get 2 chests (except T3).. If you're unlucky, you dont get any at all (like me :( )
Do you thinking increasing the number of chests is good? maybe to 3 chests? :confused:

They need to take wow/gw2 approach of less restrictions on gear.
Healer and mages should share primary stat.
Melee and Ranged physical dps should share primary stat too.

My group got too much drg , blm and brd loot. No tank or healer loot. Fair amount of monk loot.

The system is awful. I haven't been in coil for too long, but have had about 12 turn wins. I'm a healer and there has dropped ONE healer item. Tank loot? Two pieces. Two bard. Two Caster. Some monk. Dragoon? One million. It's a joke. We have no chance on T5 because of this RNG distribution. Our DRG alts have more allegan pieces than most of us.

and if by more chests you mean, more tanking chests... then yes! please make Heavy Allagan Armor rain from the sky! heck... please make tanking gear drop more then drg!
but as for loot chests, i think 2 coffers coil is fine (excluding turn 3 of course) as long as it starts to drop equally for all jobs... because i think their current algorithm is a bit weighted.

I think for some of us that doesnt have a chance to get any allagan stuffs is kinda unfair.. they're like 16 loots for T1 alone (if i did not calculate wrongly).. this is way too much! each item have a 12.5% of chance of appearance. And what if you need to roll it with another player.. Its gonna take ages for some to get their ilvl90 especially those with other jobs... :( maybe increasing by 1 or 2 chests will be better as it will provide more chance to others.

I believe the idea is that you have your iLvl90 BC gear and then you have your iLvl90 myth gear. One is RNG, the other is predicable. So in theory, while you might not get your BC drop, you never come out of a turn with absolutely nothing. Now we can discuss BiS BC vs Myth, but in most cases if one is BiS the other is #2.

So the question is, what's the downside of the current system? Truth is full iLvl 90 isn't required to clear endgame. So would it be nice if there were more chests? Sure, I wouldn't turn that down. Is it killing progression? Probably not.

Personally, I'd like to see more myth tomes drop each turn, say 75 instead of 50 so a full clear gets you 300 instead of 200 tomes.

The risk of increasing the drop rate too much is then looting chests start to get boring, and you'll hear the same argument about BC gear that you hear with relic weapons, that they're too easy to get.

I know people like instant gratification but come on. I don't want everything to be gained on one try.

RNG sucks sometimes I get that....but seriously people. When we get lvl 50 why not just give us 2000 tomes and a and our choice of 3 binding coil items..>lets just eliminate the need to farm?

Meh... I like how it is. I've been doing coil since late Sept. and the drop rate of tank gears for our group suck balls. Had to myth out my PLD to keep up with my DPS members. Some of us are just very unlucky and RNG is so RNG.

What they should have done was create token system where tanks, casters, healers, and melee/ranged dps each have a unique token that can be exchanged for coil gear. There would be far less chance of loot being left to rot unlike now. Who am I kidding, SE doesn't think logically and they wouldn't be able to extend the life of a raid dungeon with only 3 bosses for ~9 months.

T3 is stupid....give it a boss and give us something else other than pots or spread out the gear more so there isn't 25 pieces in one chest.

They should lower the drop rate of all allagan gear and let us run coil as much as we want, tired of this once a week bs...
