Divebombs for Twintania

Are there any other ways to do divebombs for Twintania other than huddling together in the pit? Out of all things we're usually wiping to divebombs when we shouldn't be. People are moving the instant we hear the alarm and we're all standing on top of each other but sometimes people just get hit.

We're consistently getting to divebombs but then it feels like it's a 50% chance whether or not someone dies.

If getting hit by one Divebomb kills you, you're undergeared and probably won't hit enrage.
With that said, it's possible for someone to stand too close to the wall, or too far out, making the timing to avoid being hit extremely tight. Everyone has to figure out the 'right' spot.

There are other strategies, but they all involve huddling.

We aren't undergeared and we're able to get phase 2 in only 4 conflags. The problem is when one person gets hit it usually compounds and results in multiple people getting hit afterwards.

Don't rely on the sound. You should be moving the instant the marker appears. If someone gets hit they should stay out of the pit. They can safely re-enter just after the next divebomb has hit.

Turn off unnecessary game sounds (such as music).
Turn off names above characters, or change them to initials.
Turn off spell effects for everyone.
Zoom in your camera before the divebombs, bigger = easier to see.

A lot of groups; if not all groups had this problem. At the end of the day it's just the amount of times you smash your head against divebombs until your group of players finally understand it. Divebombs is by far the hardest part of the fight in Twintania, easily.

However, for the 2nd set of divebombs, ensure that your group is kinda' spread so you don't get the stacks from the little adds, in case people DO make a mistake. Other than that, goodluck!

Only 2 scenarios here:
Person with marker moves correctly and Twintania flies backwards
If someone gets hit, they are slow. It is 100% their own fault.

Person with marker screws up and moves slow i.e. Twintania flies straight across
Almost everyone gets hit. 100% that guy's fault.

After the Twister nerf, yup!

All right cool, thanks for the tips. It's just frustrating that we understand what to do for divebombs but it's still a roadblock that prevents us from getting more practice on Twisters 50% of the time.

Or split up the group to not all on 1 spot. Less clutter n not all get hit if it actually happen :p

we usually stack on each other and move as a group, one person will call out countdowns and everyone move. It becomes easy once you get the timing down, this work even for people with high ping (300ms+).

PLDs with Tempered Will.
BLMs with Manawall.
