A Challenge Issued to Twintania Defeaters!

I here-by Challenge you to take your 8-man party and lock the other 16 players out of Acheron's battle in The Labyrinth of the Ancients and defeat him by yourselves. Video proof or it doesn't count.

You wanted challenging, well try with your overgearedness to take a 24 man battle on with only 8.

Edit: For those IDIOTS who think I'm recommending they 'grief' 2 other parties, I'm not. I do not understand what is going on between your ears to make you assume that is what I meant, as I did not say in any way that you should not be communicating / asking ahead of time. If you get a No from even one person on the Alliance Chat, I'd say not to do it for that run, but *shrug* I was just trying to give people an idea for a challenge. After all, people are having WHM tank Titan after all... Don't get all high and mighty on me about a suggestion when by assuming I mean you shouldn't communicate only shows that you have no right to try as your default is set to not communicating.

They are adding an Alliance Chat after all for the 24-people to type to each other.

I like it.

Probably wouldn't be too difficult unless there are DPS checks.

BG will probably not be pulling the Lock-out trick on the other parties. That's why I'm challenging the rest of the players who claim there is no challenge for their 8-man Coil Static groups that can kill Twintania.

no, i think they would do it. in a nicer way. like waiting for a set of DF parties (or successfully queueing with their own) to allow them to attempt it 8 man.

Really? You're suggesting they deliberately screw over 2 entire other parties? You do remember you can't join with two other complete parties of your choosing right? You'll essentially be completely screwing over 16 people just so you can have a "challenge." Selfish.

They might be arrogant at times, but cheaters? I don't think so. Sounds like someone is just jealous.

If there is a DPS check, even an all-ilvl60-or-bust gear check, passing the gear check with 1/3 the DPS might be tough. If they can solo tank something that is made for 6 tanks (lol) then I'm sure they'll do it though.

I wouldn't be so sure. We have no idea what the mechanics of the fights look like, so we don't know if there really IS a need for six tanks and six healers. It could be like trying to throw three people at Titan HM.

I'm assuming that even if the other 2 parties DON'T participate their Treasure Chests will still appear, since each party gets its own loot chests. So in effect I'm challenging you to carry 2 parties that aren't participating, yes.

A) You know what they say about assumptions right?
B) You're still screwing over others. Some of which will want to do the fight, or could even be doing it for the first time. You're still screwing them over regardless of the loot.

Did I say they should do it without communicating or asking if they can? No. I'm just saying if they want difficult, to try to do the 24-man as an 8-man. How is that Selfish? The ones who are selfish would be the ones to lock them out WITHOUT communicating. Try Talking to People. It's an MMO, those are real people. Listen to suggestions and don't be a jackass.

I haven't personally seen the fight myself, so is there any additional information we can get?

1) How many adds/enemies need to be tanked? Given the fact its a 24 man raid, I would assume the last boss would incorporate all parties and not just 1. This also leads to the question if multiple enemies need to be silenced at any given time.

2) Enrage timer. If the above is not overwhelming for 2 tanks then I would question what the enrage timer is, which in turn would ask the question how much dps would be needed.

3) Possibility. Given the 2 factors above, would it even be possible with a fully ilvl90 geared group to pull this off?

Basic questions really, interested to see the fight myself though.

Or they could 6 man Twintania. Start selling them carries bro! Or 2 man titan hm! Or solo ak/wp!

Seriously, they shouldn't have to change the rules of the content just to find something challenging and worthy of ilvl 90 gear. Everything is for pre-coil, which means it should have been in the game already with coil being the thing that is released in 2.1. As far as progression goes, that is ass backwards and just terrible by design, regardless of how fun, cool or good the content is.

Just tells me that SE didn't execute their plan properly because of mismanagement.

OP, doesn't know the mechanics of the dungeon let alone the final boss and is already issuing out challenges. That's why. At least do the dungeon and have a grasp of the mechanics before issuing out challenges.

No one knows whether it will even be possible to eight man it because no one knows the mechanics.

I don't know maybe it's just me but I find it silly.

If you were allowed to queue with a 24 person premade, I'm sure people would try this, but as it currently stands, it would just be griefing 16 strangers.

Even if anyone pulled it off I'm not sure they would enjoy the ban for griefing 16 other players.

Aren't there points in the CT tower where each party is on their own for a bit anyways? (In which if other parties complete their section they pretty much play the waiting game till the alliance get's together.)
