Many members of the Coeurl community have pitched in for a decent prize pool. Perfect timing for the upcoming patch. If you are struggling with free company housing funds or even just want a nice piece of cash to your personal stockpile. This event is for everyone on Coeurl, organized and hosted by members of the coeurl community, looking to do something fun and nice for the rest of the community.

Sounds like fun. It's good to see players make use of their playtime, More servers should do stuff like this.

Thats just a downright insane amount of prizes.

We all want it to be big, all the people who have contributed are amazing and it is nice to see peoples generosity even while saving themselves. Radioxiv has been generous enough to promote the event on their radio website with a banner. Regardless of weather players need the prizes or not, participating in the event games will be a lot of fun and a nice change from the repetitive play. I look forward to a decent turnout, everyone involved does and we are all working hard for it.

Hmm... Tried doing stuff like this in FFXI Before, and Wow, always someone with an xyz hack ruining the day. And they are hard to catch because they'll use it to increase their speed just enough to win barely.

There will usually always be someone who wants an unfair advantage. We wont let that stop us from doing something nice and fun foe the community though :) We are trying to make it all as fair as possible and will have volunteers supervising the races to help keep an eye out for people cheating.

Tawdry, feel free to submit a banner to advertise this event on RadioXIV website, also feel free to send me an email on jamin@radioxiv.com and I'll promote this on my Sunday night timeslot :)

Thank you Jamin, I have already submitted a banner to Malachi and had it posted to the footer slot over at radioxiv.com but I will always welcome more promotion for our event, especially the radio slot kind.

In return I will happily make sure RadioXIV gets as much coverage as the hosting Free Companies in our advertisements elsewhere.
