Linkshell List Reordering?

As the title suggests, is there a way to change the order of my Linkshells in my list?

The only way to change the order right now is by leaving and re-joining them. They are re-added to your list to the first available slot in the order they are re-added.

E.g. To switch two linkshells in your list, you would have to drop both and then join the one you want to be in the first position first, and then join the other one after.

Having my second linkshell destroyed and then remade (before I removed it) meant for the longest time I had a linkshell in slot 1 and slot 3.

Due to my OCD I didn't sleep for weeks.

I really wish there would be options to change the order of Linkshells in the list, as well as of the way the Members List is sorted. I'd much prefer to have them sorted in alphabetical number rather than Join-Date. Now if you're in a large LS it's just awful to look for a member specifically unless you remember more or less at which pointed they joined the group.

Not asking to change it, far from me to want to upset those out there who may enjoy this kind of list sorting, but please give more options?

Yeah, not sure why we can't change the order in which linkshells appear.

Another small UI thing I'd like to change: I want to be able to set which chat channel is my default. So annoying that I have to change it to FC chat every time I log in.

Being able to reorder them would be heavenly.

I now am facing this problem!

I had 3 linkshells, then my 2nd linkshell had to disband because the owner moved server. Now I have LS#1 and an empty slot, and then LS#3. Please make it so the LS list can be manually rearranged.

@1: Because of RMT or PS3 limitation obviously

The link shell interface in general leaves a lot to be desired.

Just one of those many QoL features we may only dream of having one day.

Yes, we should have this. (Not quite as high of priority as the last-logged-in-time display for LS members, but we should have both.)

I have wanted to be able to reorder Linshells forever and have probably made 2 forum posts and replied to many more about it. Bleh, sadness. :(

I want to be able to reorder my linkshells too. at the very least bit if your LS in slot 1 is dropped the one in slot 2 should take its spot, I always wondered why that didn't happen

Not really important, but I would like to have this as well. :)

Probably for people with macros to, for example, notify their hunting LS when they find a hunt mob. If you put the LS channel number into a macro you expect it to remain consistent. So I don't think they should move around automatically just because a different LS was dropped. But yes, I agree that we should be able to do that manually.

i just think having that option to change the LS order would be nice, allows for those that do want to arrange it and those that dont want to dont have to.

Very much on board with this, especially as someone with two characters that are sometimes in the same LS. Super annoying to have the same LS be chat channel #2 on one character and then channel #3 on the other.

There needs to be a way to do it without leaving and rejoining. SE likes to make things more complicated than they need to be.

Click, Hold, drag drop to new slot.

at the very least, put a move up or down option when you right click on a LS.

SE make it so! pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!

This is a minor annoyance, but it feels like the UI still has a good number of minor annoyances. I am stuck with /l2 and /l4, while lacking an /l1 or /l3.
