Paladin Gear Upgrades - Coil T4 - accurancy - hate

Hello,
i'm not experienced hence i ask your advice - which is much appreciated.

Generally speaking i had some upgrades from lvl 90 items - boots (dropped from t1) and braceletet bought from vendor.

These 2 items do not have accurancy at all - but they do have parry,vitality etc.
Considering they are beter than DL i use them and my accurancy dropped to 426.

If I put my DL gear instead of those i have 484 accurancy.

So my first question is - how can the lvl 90 tanking items have much less accurancy ? Should i use them or not ?

Second question : When i had 426 accurancy in coil t4, i was loosing hate. Was that an accurancy problem ? If i have 475+ accurancy will i be able to build more threat or it doesnt affect it ?

Third question : how much accurancy needs a plaadin tank for coil turns ?

426 is too low, 484 is too much.
You should stay around 470-475, maybe less up to turn 4.
Keep in mind you can (and imho should) use la noscean toasts for parry, vit and accuracy.

For every other question a PLD will answer better than me.

480. Nothing else matters if you can't hold hate because of whiffs.

I am puzzled why you have so very little accuracy though, Tanks tend to have an insane amount of it.

Yes 480-482acc, you can get the hero's ring of fending that has accuracy on it to replace your hoplight. Also remember with darklight you loose two pieces instead of one, head and chest. while valor has them separate. Before you buy a piece check out your stats and what you will gain and loose before buying.

So having low accurancy - might be the reason why i couldnt keep hate sometimes on mobs in t4?

No 'might' about it, it is undoubtedly the reason. Sub 480 means halone combo wont proc as often, which means party hate builds up faster than your own.

If you had 426 accuracy it was indeed the reason why you couldnt keep hate.

1. AF 2 Paladin? yeah, its not have accuracy build so you need Allagan to make it up, Allagan body have very high accuracy +34, also sometime you must mix with DL gears to boost up accuracy or you doing very bad on coil turn 4 because you will miss like hell

2. Of course, its obvious accuracy problems, low accuracy = you miss combo = less and less enmity = you can't tank anything. With 475 accuracy, its perfect and of course, its noticable compared to your 426 accuracy (which is woe) your enmity will better

3. To be exactly, 472 for turn 4 and 485 for turn 5, you can boost up accuracy by food too but its expensive so its wise to cook it yourself or rip off.

Im mostly 90 war, with allagan belt, boots, af2 for everything else (DL hands), hero ring and DL for other accessories.. my accuracy is like.. 430 or some BS like that.. i90 tank gear just has such horrible acc, and i dont feel i should have to spend money on food or 5 melded rings just to not suck at tanking in mostly full i90 tank gear. in T4 i probably miss 1 or 2 hate moves each try and its horrible. i think we wiped once because of a very well timed miss early in a fight, but it isnt as bad as its made out to be, that being said.. i am in no way happy with the amount of acc or saying you dont have to be capped.

That's your problem, just bad luck in the order of your drops along with a bad order purchase on the wrist. I'm assuming you paired up Allagan boots with hoplite pants, so you lost 43 accuracy there, then dropping the darklight wrist was another 12 accuracy lost for a total of 55 accuracy which looks about what you're faced with now.

The problem isn't that the i90 Tanking gear doesn't have accuracy, it's that the accuracy is on different slots than a bunch of the darklight gear. So all your upgrades were for the slots that had acc on darklight and none on allagan.

My suggestion is stick the DL pants back on with the Hero's wrist (which is what you're wearing right now) and start saving for the Valor pants. If you get lucky with drops that up your acc before you get the myth for pants you may be able to swap in the boots, if not then when you get the pants swap them in with allagan boots and switch the hero's wrist with the darklight bracelet. That will keep you above 470 acc WITH food, if you run out of food you might need to swap back.

If you get lucky and the allagan chest drops then that'll solve most of your issues =p Gearing in coil is very dependent on the RNG of what drops you pick up for what slot and maintaining accuracy with myth stone loot around those drops.

This is a problem with almost all classes. Accuracy on i90 is terribly itemized in general. Some pieces have tons of it and a lot of pieces don't have any. So you have to be really careful in the way you build your character. You'll find you pretty much can't use anything i90 on the left side until its all i90 due to the way they itemized accuracy and the way DL has combined pieces. Its just a silly and stupid situation in general, which will probably be rectified with i80 gear from CT.

Also, DL legs have +43 accuracy and DL chest has zero. You're losing so much accuracy swapping out the legs before you get i90 chest/head.

As a tank perspective build around your accuracy, While building around your coil drops. Don't just jump the gun by equipping stuff that has higher Vit(speaking of Coil).
Even more so when your talking legs/feet DL has a huge amount +43Acc.

Since you got coil feet, go for myth legs assuming you will be using food in coil. Myth legs/Coil feet+La Noscean Toast(HQ9)=474
After that work on myth head(21) with Hoplite body(24)=519/510(no food) > myth bracelets(since you have) -12acc >507 >Myth body(assuming you don't get coil by then)-24 =483/474(no food).

As you can see it's a balancing act.
Problem i could see you running into since using coil feet, is no coil body(34) no Coil hands(21).

Say you went with the above trying to use myth hands > -16 > 467 w/food.
Keep in mind tho coil earrings brings 11acc(Rose Gold Ear screws 12acc).
Going from DL Ring to Coil ring loses 9acc. DL to Coil belt -1 etc etc..

Sure they do. Right up until you start getting Allagan/Myth gear. It's a bit easier on PLDs, but WAR have absolute hell on accuracy. I've just got 3 pieces of gear upgrades tonight because one of them gave me enough ACC to actually use the other two which have been sitting in my bags for 2 weeks. Couldn't use them because accuracy is a thing.
