I have player scholar since beta and love the class but I find the pet interface is a little random. Could Scholars have a separate command GUI that is different from Summoner please?
Firstly sic on a healer pet makes little sense as they cant attack anyone. Due to some randomness when using steady and obey whispering dawn is still automatically activated. It would be great if only embrace were auto cast on the pet as it gets annoying when whispering dawn is randomly activated as it piggybacks the last 2 skills. I believe this issue goes back to the illogical healer pet interface.
Also (due to mouse over macro being so unreliable in dungeons presently) it would be brilliant if Scholars could set healing priority for their pets that weren't based upon who the Scholar is targeting at the time. As they have 2 healers sho0uldn't the have potential to heal 2 players at the same time?
Thoughts?

I am happy if:
Eos doesn't break out of steady after manually using embrace and if Obey could be used on a target to have her AI set to heal said target before it drops to 70%.
Don't think I need anything more than that. -

WOW has an amazingly intuitive pet system, I feel like their 'Hunter' class (and Warlock) gets pets right.
FFXIV pets just seem clunky and poorly designed from my experience. -

Random question but, why most ppl always want to compare / adopt FFXIV to X game?
I'm fully aware that the pet system here kinda sucks but comparing it to other games or want it to adopt a feature from it makes me wonder, why are you even playing here? I mean why not just play X game instead? http://i.imgur.com/JZ6F11a.gif -

Adding to the aggravation is that she prioritizes following you to healing (I learned that you basically have to use Place to get her to actually heal effectively instead of just derping around as you dodge AoEs). And Embrace is only 30 yalms; when I am standing at max range, she is all spaced out going "LA LA FLOWERS" (or whatever fairies space out about) while the tank gets his or her face kicked in. I am getting in the (bad) habit of just standing in mid-melee range just so I know that she will actually heal people.
Change "Sic" to like "Focus" where you can select an ally instead of an enemy and she will follow THEM around and focus on them with Embrace. That would be neat. -

Also, Selene drives me mad when she keeps spamming spell speed buff, but requires me to do the skill speed one manually. I mean... most of the time I'm too busy to do something else to notice that spell speed is over or tank is just about to pull and I don't want to be a derpface by pulling all aggro with it. :S
Or better yet, there's 5 seconds before spell speed is up again, so I would have to
a) skip skill speed, again
b) do skill speed, put Selene on steady and glue my eyes on the skill cds, instead of you know... healing and dpsing and stuff
c) let Selene replace skill speed in five seconds with spell speed
