So we just down Odin on my server, i was there for over 95% of the fight, I did not die once, I healed my party, raised people when they died, DPS'd most of the time, used HQ Food, Elixirs, and Shroud multiple times to regain MP so I could continue performing actions non stop and was active the entire time.
What was my reward for this .... 26 Grand Company Seals.

Ive completely given up on Odin and Behemoth fates. Last time I tried Odin in a full party for almost the entire duration of the fate, did the limit break at the end, and got a bronze. Complete waste of time.

Huh, at least you were able to kill him. The other day he spawned on Hyperion, the server crashed and when everyone logged in again, he spawned again we lost the FATE because no one was able to target it or DPS it. I had a SS of the exact moment when everything got freezed before the massive server kick.

Odin and Behemoth require a party of 8 to be doing a lot of damage/healing/enmity to get gold, as far as I know. If you don't have 8 people there from the start all doing their job, you won't get it. Only time I've gotten gold is when my party was the first full party there for the first 3-5 minutes of the fight.

Yeah I was there for that encounter the entire fight and didnt start losing sight of him until about 10% and spammed like hell on bard and still only got silver.

Pssssst, Odin Fate itself is horrible.
Mobs can't even keep up with all the dots that players want to apply. Kind of understandable but when you have 10 arcanists, bam, done. And that's not counting the thunders, aeros, fractures, windbites, scorns, etc that jobs want to apply.
Just like it's predecessor, 14 loves mass battles without the effort to support them and jobs get left out.
To be honest, it's quite likely to the people getting such bad rewards that they're falling off the mob's threat table completely. Between all summoner pets, chocobos, scholar fairies, and players there, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a limit and people are reaching it and being reset.
