We need Skill Speed to increase TP Regen also!

As it stands, skill speed does nothing but hinder a DPS; they cannot maximize their DPS and have to hold back in order to regain TP. Why cant the TP/MP Regen scale with the increase of Skill/Spell Speed respectively? Specifically, My MNK and WAR face many TP problems, which has me looking for gear that doesnt offer skill speed for this sole reason.

i dont agree with it doing nothing for dps, especially as a mnk, it helps some with building GL3 faster (yes i know, its not much, but every second helps).......but outside of that scenario, i totally agree
i usually find myself running out of tp during titan on mnk (popping invigorate at about 570 tp, and will run out of tp before its ready again) i think they should do something to help make skill speed a bit more useful

support...how about a boost to regain mana faster, not an action but like piety gives a bigger mana pool we could use the same to boost regen

The only use Skill speed really has is for MNK.
It allows you to squeeze in a DoT before Twin Snakes wears (as an example.)
Aside from that it actually has a diminishing value with GL3.

It is definitely the worst sub stat in the game though.. It is garbage for DRG (especially since a solid chunk of DRG's dps comes from off-GCD abilities such as leg sweep and Jump).

Spell speed is a slightly different story for mages as basically every action you do on BLM (as an example) is affected. (Aside from the obvious things like Swiftcast etc, but basically any damaging skill, is affected).

Generally speaking, Skill Speed does need a buff..
MNK's are running out of TP not because of Skill Speed specifically (but because of GL3)

It'd be nice if skill speed acted as a haste in general for weapon skills as well as auto-attacks. I'd feel a lot better about the stat in general outside of "I can use True Strike without Twin Snakes falling off, yey".

Basically skill speed needs help in any way possible.

I'd also like to have it make auto attacks faster ... But then, i just want to punch like that PGL does in the GLA questline T_T

Warrior has TP problems in general from what I've heard. They are getting some of that alleviated in 2.1. I haven't played Monk in anything yet, but it ran out of TP mighty quickly on a dummy. Drg on the other hand can pretty much go forever with invigorate no matter how high your skill speed is. I think Monk just needs a general recalculation of their skill costs, unless of course I was doing it's rotation wrong which is entirely possible. Skill speed can be buffed to affect timers more, but I don't think it needs to increase TP regen.

Warrior has major TP issues when tanking big groups of mobs............ Sometimes I feel bad holding ppl up in dungeon waiting for my TP which get burn out quick and Flashing burn MP quick .

I'm pretty sure it increases auto attack speed because on my mnk, an auto attack gets thrown out pretty much the same time a skill goes off even with full stack of GL and a base gcd of 2.39. I never really tested it, but just going off general observance.

Skill Speed is such a horrible stat.. I can use my skills .01 second faster now.. yay..

Skill speed has no effect on your auto attack speed. GL has an increase on both skill speed(GCD) as well as auto-attack speed(the delay on auto-attacks for your weapon). Skill speed only affects the former.

It would be great if we can get TP regen materia from melding primal weapons.
