Crafting Bot Issue Over a Month Old Now

How come the economy of this server is completely dominated by one person and her bot retainers and nothing is done about it? It's pretty clear at this point that our economy is one of the worst and people are merely fighting over scraps to make a few thousand gil in profit. It's nearly impossible to list anything over 10k without this one person and his/her bot retainers undercutting with 5-10 items at over 5k or more.

Not saying any names, but I am sure at this point it's a Free Company full of bots/gil sellers just sitting in front of a market board waiting for any sort of item to undercut while their crafter makes hundreds of items for 20 hours a day.

I know this may seem like a fruitless topic about something that will probably never get resolved, but I thought if more people knew they might report this to Square-Enix. This probably would've happened eventually, but I still don't feel it's right for one person completely ruin an economy for what seems like 2 months now.

Everybody undercuts. Why do you think it's bots? And have you reported this "one person" to SE?

Hundreds of items listed at a time, instant undercuts by other characters who sit in front of a market board/retainer all day, the zero responses from any of these people. I have reported them, but going by the more obvious gathering bots not being banned, Square-Enix probably just doesn't care.

Maybe check every 1 star crafting item and see how many items this one person has listed instead of just thinking I'm delusional.

I did. And the two star items. It's either you found something that was mass producing because 1 star items are a joke to make or you're delusional.

Some people just grind out products and undercut to sell them for a quick sale, doesn't mean that they are bots... I make bank off their easy sales by buying them and reselling them at a way higher profit... It's the nature of the game...

try buying out and reselling some 1 stars. you'll notice another set of 5-10 of that one item will be listed within a few minutes.

Most of the large market playing crafter's probably know who you are speaking of. The player(s) have at least 18+ retainers associated with their crafts(all of which are selling near capacity 24/7). They quite possibly could have taken the time to level all their character slots for the account to at least 15 to have that many slots, who knows. We probably wont ever know.

All you can do is report them, if they are doing something wrong SE will hopefully sort it out in time. Until then they get to spam all of the Militia / Imperial Operative / Crafting and Gathering class sets.
