Abaddon linkshell is looking for players who know how to relax and have a good time. We are looking for all classes; battle, gathering, and synthesis. Abaddon is all about friendship, end-game, and getting things done.

Abaddon member here. I can vouch that it's an excellent LS. Besides the members being friendly/helpful/generous, they have sp parties each reset for all rank ranges, which means no matter where your classes are at, you can work together to get your ranks up.

...not to mention we're in the Fabul top 10. ^^

Thanks for the kind words Jet, we aim to please! But yeah, we have Leve runs going at the moment which have been highly successful. So much so, that we have two to three groups or more every reset, and that's only during US prime time. We have another group running leves every reset during EU prime-time as well.

I can't give away our strategy, but suffice to say it's the fastest way to rank up in the game.

No bug! Just people doing leve quests together. Abaddon is great we level so fast together...everyone shows up on time and we get the job done!

We don't do any exploits. I'm not gonna do anything that could get me banned. That's just stupid. I've got too much time and effort invested in my char and my linkshell to go and get myself banned, especially for an exploit the devs know about.

Besides, wasn't the Levinshower bug fixed in the last patch? That's what the patch notes said anyway.

My char name is from some William Gibson novels, rather than having anything to do with how much gil I have.

That's hilarious, in fact I've never denied an application. So they obviously don't know what they are talking about.

Nvm, found it. Yeah that is quite a 'loose' definition of elitist. Elitist meaning hardcore :P

I actually don't think we're that hardcore. Sure we have some members that play quite a bit, but one could easily log in for the hour and a half to two hours it takes us to run leves every reset and still not get left behind by our other members.

Very interesting, I'm not sure what may cause that other than an email address or IP being flagged because of a spammer. What did you answer for the robot question?

Unfortunately, without knowing what you are entering into the form I can't know what might be getting flagged. We got hit hard with some spam bots recently, so I had to tighten up security quite a bit.

If all else fails, use the Board Administrator link just above the capcha code on the registration page and send me all the info you are entering in that page and your ip address. That way I can research the problem. 6 people have successfully registered since the 12th, so it's definitely something you entered in the form that is being flagged.

Is leve failing not an exploit, some people say it is, some people say its not. If it is you guys are definitely exploiting XD

Nope, it's a mechanic intentionally put in place by the developers during beta or shortly thereafter.

It was definitely not SE's intent for people to intentionally abandon leves for better SP. However, it probably also wasn't their intent for most leves to outright suck and be a complete waste of time. So until they get their act together and improve the terrible leves like they said they would ages ago it's hard to blame anyone for using the trick. That said, there's nothing to rush to 50 to do until June... as some of us found out the hard way.

Meh, we've been having tons of fun basically grinding leves every reset and attempting to outfit our entire LS with NM gear. While more end-game content would be nice. We are making due with what we've got.

We are actually recruiting again now. I made a new thread on the Balmung forum.

I'll be honest in that you'll need to work on some leveling before we will really be able to group up with you. Most of our current members have all of their jobs to 50 and are focused on end-game content. I won't refuse your app, but unless you get a good couple PLs I'm afraid we may not even be able to group up before our evaluation period ends. Regardless, I look forward to meeting you in-game.

Very understandable, in that case I'll try to learn as much as I can about the game by myself and I'll come back when I've leveled enough.
