Excited about 2.1

Anyone else excited about 2.1?

Battle classes - I will be able to start gearing up other battle classes for Coil beyond Darklight without needing to dip into my valuable (but limited) supply of Mythology using the Crystal Tower.

Not to mention helping add some new flavors to alleviate the grind for gear.


Crafting - Really looking forward to be able to craft PvP gear as well as housing furnishings in the near future.

I know it's damn near impossible for everyone to be happy with changes, but I personally am really looking forward to 2.1 and beyond.

Everything coming in 2.1 sounds amazing. There will always be a reason to open FF14 every day rather than once a week for Coil/AK/WP. That's enough for me to love this patch. Sure, there's nothing harder than Coil in 2.1, but I don't remember them ever saying there would be. 2.2 is the next step for progression, 2.1 is to get everyone on equal ground - and I think it will do a great job of accomplishing that.

I'm counting down the days! Crystal tower and extreme modes are going to be amazing

Yep. I'm really happy with the broadening of content. Giving UW some special treatment really made my day. CT looks amazing to explore, and they brought the FF3 Boss Theme, Soken friggin' delivered!

Can't wait for it ether.

I'm excited too... but are we actually allowed to be excited about the game in the official forums?
