I got 99 Allowances.... and a question....

So I have 99 allowances and I was wondering if that could get me to 50 as a Botanist which is already 21. Also any tips for leveling Botany.

You should be able to hit 50 and then some. In a fairly recent patch all DoL leves give more experience.

I'd suggest always trying to get the bonus +25% experience when on that leve. Other then that keep your gear in check with your level and have fun :)

I was seeing about 3 to 4 leves per level from 25-30 in Quarrymill, so I would guess 99 allowances would get you to at least 46/47? It could possibly get you the full way.

If you have a lot of GC seals you can boost your exp gain from the leves(a large chunk of it comes from the actual gathering during the leve) by purchasing the exp boosts. Buy one, use it, then buy another so you can refresh in the field.

I got from 40-45 on Botanist on about 15 leves (while using the 2300 GC seal manual) if that'll help figure things out.

I went from 35-to 50 miner and 45 to 50 botanist using 75 leves

I could've sworn I used only about 75 leves to take my BTN from 1 to 50.

So should I do one at a time or do all the ones I get then turn in? I ask this because I don't know if the speed of complete bonus stills applies if I do them all.

I usually hold my leves and turn them in when they're all complete unless turning in one will level me up. I think the speed of completion only affects the leve as you're doing it and not based on when you turn it in.

Don't waste your leves on gathering professions. Its not worth it, even after the dol buff its definitely not worth it. If you plan on spirtbinding endgame you will need the mats you get from grinding bot and miner especially flax from botany.

I spent about 40 leves in total levelling my Miner from 32 to 50.

11 more levels, would probably be an additional 20 or so? 99 is definitely more than enough, and some more.

I might have used more if I wasn't farming Electrum Ore from levels 41 to 45 though. I ended up with about 10 - 15 stacks of Electrum Ores (HQ and NQ) on hand when I was done. The reason I switched to leves from 46 onwards was because I didn't want to spend money getting a level 46 HQ set just to mine Cobalt Ore (when I hit level 46, I had a 71% chance or so for mining Cobalt Ores from the nodes without any skills used). So I spent leves which I could finish easy with my lv40 set to push the levels.

I used around 60 to get from 30 to 50 together with 25+ GC seals and food. I don't think 99 will be enough for 21 to 50 but should get u to 45

Wrong you need a lot of specific mats,(even if you plan on making 1 of everything, most mats you are only going to use less than 10). If Spiritbonding, then most mats are going to be from level 50 nodes if you are going for tier 4 materia.

Also just gathering everything you need to do crafts won't keep you gathering class leveled to the point you need to keep up with leveling your crafting classes, even if you do them all at once. If your leveling your crafting class with leves, even using just triple-turn in ones.
