How to do 'Stuck Emote Glitch':

Step 1: Sit on any bench, chair, crate.
Step 2: Pick an emote you can do while sitting
Step 3: Simultaneously stand up while doing the emote (easier with the use of macros)
Step 4: If you succeed, you will see yourself doing the emote while standing up
Step 5: Have fun with the glitch (to re-animate your upper body, simply sit and do an emote)

*Any animation you trigger by using emotes or skills while standing up will be done while your upper body is stuck
*Doesn't work with Archer/Bard skills
*This works even when you ride a mount !

What the glitch does is it locks the animation of your upper body into what emote you did.

I believe you can do it with any emotes that can be done (showing animation) while sitting, but here's what I have done:

/welcome
/airquotes
/deny
/cheer
/congratulate
/happy

I spent the past 30 mins trying to recreate this bug! I CAN'T DO IT!!! argh

I really want to walk around with my hand on my hip ... workin my stuff

I also tried to get this to work. i get i need to be sitting on a chair or something that makes our chars sit but i cannot, for the love of every lalafell, get to fire off my sit and air quotes macros at the same time. its always one or the other. I even tried macroing both motions in the same macro and it does not work either.

I noticed a few times that only I could see it, or some people could and some couldn't, and even a try where I couldn't but everyone else could.

It usually works for everyone, though.

I'm fairly sure they're visible to everyone. The independently-moving hips glitch happens to my FC's bard constantly and everyone can see it. It's hilarious!
